My theme is set to 1920px. I have an image on my homepage that is set to 1920px. It shows perfectly in the classic editor. When it displays on the web, the cetral image is reduced to about 1000px, but the rest of the page is 1920px. Large image size in media settings is set to 1920px. I cannot figure out what is causing the main image to shrink.

I like to see the post image on home page post image as preview. I uploaded the image to media library but could not see the same.

I just turned on image optimization. Everything seems ok, except that the image on the homepage only shows up for logged in users. However, if you are not logged in, you can make it show up by hitting REFRESH once or several times.

If you load my page, there should be a black image with a Lynx logo in front of the CLICK HERE FOR FREE ACCESS TO OUR DOMAINS button. On first load, it is now blank white.

Why is the homepage image not always displaying?

Hi there:

I just started using the Neve theme, and already bumping into some trouble. I loaded my front page with an image that I want to be full-width. Set the template to “Page Build Full Width (Neve)” but the image is still not filling the container. Anyone have any tips on how to get this to be full-width?

Remove home page image from blog post page

I’ve recently installed and started modifying the music lite theme, and have hit upon an issue.
The home page image is showing up on the blog post page, I don’t want this to happen. Can someone explain the best way of changing it so that when the news blog page loads there is no image?

Hi, new to WP and no CSS skills.

I’m using Business Era theme with a static homepage,

The header image size for the theme isn’t right for me, so I just manually placed the image I want at the top of all my pages. It worked for everything except the home page.

On all my other pages the image is the full width of the page, but on the homepage I can’t get it to match. On the homepage it shrinks and doesn’t fit the width of the page.

Please help!

Home page image gradiation

I am using Independent Publisher Theme and the feature image on the homepage (www.mypersonalchefschool.com) has a grey color gradiation to it and I would like to remove that. It is not part of the image but part of the site. How do I remove that? Thank you for any help!

Unwanted image appeared on homepage

After creating a new post (this happened a few days ago, as well as once before aboue 6 months ago), the image I used spontaneously appeared on my homepage.

I don’t want it there, and I can’t get rid of it.

The way I dealt with it the previous time was to delete the image from my media library. I’d prefer to fix the problem really.

I’ve experimented with making the post stick and non-sticky. It doesn’t make a difference. I’ve tried deleting the image and uploading it under a new name. This still doesn’t fix the problem – it just reappears on the homepage!

I’d be grateful for any suggestions!

Oh my GOD I have spent this entire Saturday, my one day off, trying to figure out how to change two images on my website: https://carolinesommers.tv. I am a technotard but somehow hobbled my way through fixing problem one, which was to add a photo of myself in the “About Me” sidebar. However, I have been unsuccessful changing the big pink and blue image on my homepage. I want to change it to another photo I already uploaded to my Media Library but NOTHING IS WORKING!! Shouldn’t this be easy, the way you change your Facebook profile picture? It seems like on WordPress you should just go to your dashboard, then Pages–>Home–>and insert the URL of the new photo you want there. Other posts on this forum said to do that and I tried it. So why isn’t it working?!? Thank you in advance for anyone who can make this less painful. GGGGGRRRRRRR.

Change featured image on homepage for social media preview

When I share my homepage URL the image that is grabbed for Facebook etc. is taken from one of the latest posts. The featured / preview image, not sure what it’s called.

I want it instead to show my site logo (the image in the header).

Is this because my logo image is less than 200 pixels high? Site is https://nomadphilippines.com/

I searched and couldn’t find an answer to this, it’s also not under general settings, and not in WordPress SEO by Yoast or All in One SEO plugin settings, tried both of those.
