Dear sir/Ma’am;
I use YOAST SEO PLUGIN V3.0.6 with wordpress.
My home page url can’t be edited or removed. My homepage URL should just be my domain URL.Under snippet editeor if you delete ‘example-post’ and hit publish/update, it still remains…please fix give me any helpfull solution.

I already submit my problem in yoast portal but nobody help me.

How do I make home page = URL address?

Right now, when someone types in my website URL, it goes to WP’s default page. I’ve set up a custom home page and used the permalink www…../home. But, I want that to be the page that people see when they type in my web address.

How do I make that happen?

Hi everyone. I recently built our new organization site (assitej-usa.org) at another domain while the old one stayed live. I moved things over, and all has gone pretty well, except this:

The HOME tab (to the left of the ABOUT) redirects to the domain I built it on (which we are now using for another project) instead of the main assitej-usa.org page. I’ve changed the site url in my settings and cleaned the browser and DNS caches. I thought perhaps it was a theme issue (Hover by Pixelgrapes) but so far (also in an email exchange with them) they don’t think so.

Any ideas? THANKS!

Cannot Direct WordPress To The Correct Domain

To whom this may concern,
As seen on our site k-nostra.com/home/ we cannot figure out how to set up the website to go to the home page when k-nostra.com is typed in as the domain name. What happens instead is that the site redirects you to the about page and skips over the home page.

Can't restore Hm pg address – WP is adding #'s

I was trying to set up a static home page, and created a 2nd one called “Home.” WP added a suffix (-1) and I created a mess trying to fix it.

Now I get a page not found error mssg when I go to my url: https://gracefulwayhealingarts.com.

I have to click on “Home” on my nav bar to see my home page, or go to: https://gracefulwayhealingarts.com/home-4/

I deleted all previous home page versions, and recreated a new home page, thinking the numbering would be gone so I could start over – no such luck.

How do I get the url back to normal for my home pg? (https://gracefulwayhealingarts.com)

Blogger to WordPress keeping the exact same Blog URL

Hi all,

I new to WordPress, trying to move from Blogger because those nasty folks at Google are eliminating FTP Support. Anyway, my Blog has been around for about 5 years, and as a result it’s critical to me to keep exactly my Blog URL, for SEO and linking reasons.

The address of my Blog (still running on blogger as I make the transition) is https://www.pjmconsult.com/philsblog.html. I need to keep this URL EXACT in WordPress–and I can’t figure out how to do it.

I have set up my new WordPress Blog and moved all of my posts. The files are in https://www.pjmconsult.com/wordpress

In the Blog address URL in General Settings, I have it set to https://www.pjmconsult.com/wordpress

When I try to change the Blog address URL setting to https://www.pjmconsult.com/philsblog.html, I can’t seem to make it work. First, I get a 404 error, and the URL that comes up when I go to “Visit Site” puts a backslash on the end:

https://www.pjmconsult.com/philsblog.html/

Can someone guide me to get my Blog URL reset exactly to the URL of my current Blogger Blog?

This is the last thing I need to do prior to switching from Blogger and going live with my WordPress Blog.
