Why on every page the header?

Hi,
I have placed a header image, assuming that it will only be placed on my home page.
But the header is placed on every page.
Is it possible to change it that it’s only on the home page?

Firstly thank you for a really nice theme.
I’ve spent the last week setting it up & making it nice before I invest in the full theme.

All seems to be good except for three things.

1. The home page does not resize in a responsive manner and opens as a blurry section (see attached) how can this be added as additional css please to fix?

2. The gallery blog posts linked on the home page do not function well on an iPhone (and some other devices) in some cases it opens as a Lightbox image instead of going to the blog… is there any fix for this….

3. The testimonials scrolling on the home page; the posts do not seem to have a section to edit the ‘title’ for the client e.g. teacher / nurse, I can’t find where to edit this anywhere.

Creating header specific to home page

I like the way my header looks just a slender (300-px high image spanning the page). However, I don’t like the way it looks on my home page (www.kpowbooks.com). It seems to magnify the image on the home page. I don’t want a huge, bloated image. I just want a nice, narrow image spanning the page.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Deleting new page links at the top of the home page

Hello, I’m new to creating websites. On my latest website that I have been working on, every time I publish a new page, the link to that page appears at the top of my home page and throws off the design of my site. I am using the twenty-sixteen theme. I was wondering if anyone news how to get rid of these page links appearing at the top of the screen?

Hi, We really love this theme and interested in downloading but wanted to know if there were options for the home page header. 1) Can an logo image be used instead of the “script text” that reads Hueman as shown in the demo? 2) Can the entire header be replaced with art/image? I used to put flash header in my home page.. however I turned off looping when I made it and it does not loop when I load the html page. however when I use in wordpress with plug in.. it will not stop looping. I went thru all the code in the Kimili Flash Embed and made Looping=”false” and it is still looping..

is this NOT the plug in I want if I only want it to play once. any help is greatly appreciated!!

I’m a “crawling” baby in WP. Picked Online Marketer because nice color. I Running a front page with a large logo only so, I need NO HEADER on it (and home page neither, )but I want to have banners on the other pages. Following suggestions of previous forums (for other themes) on this subject I made changes in the header template (just improvising and playing by ear) which just freeze the site. I did repair it but I still have that urge. Not possible without your specific help.
Wait a minute, I’m realizing that I may edit the CSS of that particular page (the body tag section) using a developer toolbar from a popular browser. But I have not idea what and where to enter the line or tag. Your time and wise advise is highly appreciated

I use Freshy 2 for most of my client’s blogs or something with dropdowns. Are there themes with dropdowns and a header on the home page only or can you set CSS to have header only on homepage?
