I provide HIPAA Compliant services for medical practitioners in the USA.? Part of those services is WordPress webhosting.? If you are not familiar with HIPAA Compliance is the Data Security and Privacy Laws that govern the way that medical professionals are to handle the tracking, storing, destroying, viewing, and transferring of protected health information. Specifically, when it comes to Flamingo , I need to know if ANY information is reported back to Flamingo or any third party when the Flamingo plugin is being used. And more specifically, information about tracking website visits or identifying any users and visitors on the websites using the Flamingo Plugin.? The fines are very big, $50,000, and more for medical practitioners who do not use the proper plugins or configure the plugins properly, so please understand this inquiry is of an important and somewhat urgent nature. Using FF Pro, question: Is it possible to make Fluent Forms HIPAA compliant?
Also, when using the File Upload field and setting, the options for saving the file is “Fluent Forms Default Location”or “Media Library”. The latter, is obvious, but where is the FF default save location?

If we have a “location” form field, is there any way to have a User who can see only results for specific “location” field options? e.g. if they are in Nacogdoches, they can see only form submissions with “location” field data “Nacogdoches”? (this is for premium version BTW)

Custom MIME Headers for Mailgun option?

Hi,

I’m trying to determine if it’s possible to pass through custom MIME headers with this plugin?

Working with a client who requires HIPAA compliance and their IT guy is sent me the following:

“SSL cert will secure communication between a user’s browser and the website. This doesn’t secure anything beyond that. SMTP communication over port 25 is not secure. We need to ensure that the form connects to O365 w/ a secure and encrypted connection. Connection should use encryption, TLS > 1.0 (1.1,1.2,or1.3) over port 587.”

I reached out to Mailgun.com and they responded with this:

“Yes, we do support sending via port 587 with TLS 1.2 for SMTP communication; you just need to make sure you employ the X-Mailgun-Require-TLS header as part of these messages. More information here: https://documentation.mailgun.com/en/latest/user_manual.html?highlight=tls#sending-via-smtp”

Also after reviewing the Mailgun.com account I see settings for TLS Connection (Opportunistic / Required) and Certificate Verification (Required / Not Required). If I require both will that provide the necessary MIME Header?

Hipaa and Contact Form 7

Hi,

I’m wondering if there is any way to make contact form 7 hipaa compliant, or if I need to use a different plugin. Will CF7 sign a Business Associates Agreement (BAA), which is a requirement for my particular needs?

If not, which do people prefer between gravity and caldera forms?

Thanks for any guidance! I’d prefer not to have to re-do all my forms

The Videoconferencing Is Superb

I frequently need to videoconference with my clients, and I used to struggle with how difficult it was to make sure my clients was ready at the time of the session to begin video conferencing. Also, I was not always sure that what I was doing with video was HIPAA compliant.

I started using the Jituzu videoconferencing using their wordpress plug-in from my own site and couldn’t be more pleased! It’s super-easy for my clients to start their session. All they do is go to my site and login, and the button to begin their video conferencing is right there on the page for them. They just click and the session begins.

I haven’t used it yet, but I’m told their iPhone app also supports videoconferencing. So, if my clients don’t have a full computer at their disposal, they can just log in with the mobile app and start their video session from their phone. Very, very nice.

This plugin works better than my receptionist!

I’ve had great experience with this plug-in and the Jituzu service. Most of my clients would rather do everything themselves online rather than call my office and talk to my admin.

They can pay their bill online, see their appointments, schedule new ones, send me secure messages, complete intake paperwork, add themselves to a wait list for an earlier appointment, and on and on. I highly recommend for anyone in healthcare, or anyone that serves the generally public, actually.
