Bots crawling the page with yith filter

Hello, following the past post “Since last 2 update your plugin causing extremely high cpu and ram usage”, we are having problems with the plugin, its generating a lot of visits by bots per minute, all of them accesing to pages with the yith filter. We are using wordfence to block bots and ip ranges but its not working.

This is not only causing a high cpu usage in our server, but also its creating in the database transient data, that is temporary, but with this thousands of entries, we get like 5000 inserts per day, and if we dont delete them manually, the database can get thousands of inserts…

Is there a way to fix this without uninstalling the plugin? We’ve rollback to a previous version (4.29), but it still gives the problem.

I installed ‘XML Sitemap Generator for Google’ – what a bummer, after an hour cpu usage of my site was over 50% and site was unresponsive, so that had to go again.

However, plugin did create sitemap.xls with all the links etc.

JetPack Crash My WP Dashboard

Every time I access the JetPack plugin to see the Traffic Stats the Memory & CPU usage on the Server becomes high and limits.

Even though I just clicked and didn’t do any activity when using the jetpack plugin, this made the CPU usage very high.

When Click JetPack Plugin CPU High

As a result this keeps my site busy and even down within minutes. My WordPress Dashoard is crash it only reloading and timeout. But I can access my site to view homepage / post with different browser normaly.

When I do troubleshooting by deactivating the jetpack plugin, the website runs normally and the CPU usage is still reasonable.

What caused this to happen?

Product Page Builder High CPU On Server

I started creating product pages with WooBlocks from Pootlepress. Things were fine to start but as I added more products my Cloudways VPS CPU started hitting 100%.
I’ve also tried other product page builder but the same thing happens again as soon as I go to edit or view a product the server goes into overdrive.
Cloudways my server host have tried help, WordPress have said its a plugin issue and has basically has been no help.
I have had a developer go through my server cleaning up the database and optimising settings and cache.
Currently, I’m in the same position and no further forward.
Woocommerce works if I’m happy not to use any page builders plugins which seeing I’m selling photography fine art does not fit my purpose for the store.
After 5 weeks of issues, I’m at a dead end and looking at having to look away from Woocommerce at other options.
Any help or advice would be appreciated although I’ve tried pretty much everything inc changing the theme, disabling plugins etc etc.

CPU gets HIGH

I don’t know why but I recently noticed that whenever I use this to sync posts my server CPU Usage get 100%. Please look into this to solve this. Sometimes I need to wait 3-5 minutes to get load down to work again.

I checked other plugins too but I am fully sure its cause by this plugin.

Hello,
I see high CPU usage and saw that MySQL queries are very high. Turned out to be this plugin. Please check the query type which I am adding below and let me know if this is a design fault or my system related issue.

Waiting for query cache lock | SELECT post_name FROM wp_posts WHERE post_name = ‘wplconsentlog-20553’ AND post_type = ‘wplconsentlo’

I see numerous queries with the number changed after wplconsentlog.

Let me know if I can do anything to solve this.

High CPU after 3.2.7 (in 3.2.8)

Hi there,

the high CPU issue is still happening after version 3.2.7 and regardless of the manual synchronization check value. When you check it, the async call stops for a while but then after one or two minutes, it comes back (ie: packlink_pro_controller=Async_Process). It kills your CPU to the level that our site which is not live yet was banned for a month due to the CPU consumption.
I have tried to deactivate/activate the plugin and even uninstall and install it back, but it made no difference. I also tested it weeks ago with the initial 3.2.7 and the current one 3.2.8.

Can you please look into the issue? It’s making a plugin that looks great totally unusable.

Site slows down & high CPU usage due to external media optimization call

I am using external featured images in featured image for woocommerce. I have enabled media optimization options like LQIP, webp version etc. After that my site pages loading slowly and High CPU usage seen in the server. I am using OpenLiteSpeed with Cyberpanel. Server’s error log showing errors like PHP Warning: getimagesize(//cdn.zivame.com…) failed to open stream etc. Site becomes ok when all the image optimisation options are disabled.

How to prevent external images being Optimized so that lightspeed will not call this images for optimisation?
