Just one problem: when you mouse-over a button, link or image with the Easy FancyBox link, the URL is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If a user copies this, they can access the courses directly, outside of a paid subscription. Is there a way to hide the url from displaying?
The url is NOT visible when the lightbox is active, only when you mouse-over the link to the lightbox.

]]>I have EDD and RCP in my site, but I choose to handle Free downloads use Download monitor.
I have one doubt in EDD when I put a “purchase shortcode” it doesn’t show the url download or purchase url. Doesn’t show anything just click and is add to the cart.
I want to hide the shortode button from Download Monitor with Restrict content Partial shortode, so only is showed the button to click on it to some memberships.
But I doesn’t want that the url appears in the button and can be copy and shared. Even to other members from my website because I have drip content.
So, the question is: How can I hide the url from the button? Just can click the shortcode but not copy the url. (Like EDD do)
Looking forward you reply,
Best regards.
Sebastian
I want to hide the url of some links, for example, payment buttons.
What I need, is that when you pass over the button, the url is not displayed in the lower left of the screen
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance
]]>Here is what I am trying to do:
WordPress is hosted on the CGI server – like cgi.mysite.com.
Since I mostly use WordPress as the main source of my site, I have my site hosted on the CGI server. So if you go to cgi.mysite.com, you’ll get access to my site. However, if you go to www.mysite.com – you’ll also get access to my site.
Since I want to use my site as www.mysite.com, I would like the addresses for my WordPress pages/links/etc to go to www.mysite.com/page whatever.
I can control some of them manually – like the home button on my theme links to page www.mysite.com and most of the pages I’ve set up to link to things I use the www version. But if someone clicks say… a recent post on the sidebar it’ll go to https://cgi.mysite.com/?p=2174 or what have you.
So how can I get my WordPress to use the WWW version of links instead of the CGI version?
Thanks in advance.
[ No bumping please. ]
]]>Am looking for a plugin which can help me to hide direct download file URL.
e.g, i have a button which shows the file location on my site.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank You
]]>So far I haven’t had any luck via Gravity Forms and various other ‘download manager’ type plugins to make this happen. The basic steps we are looking for-
1) send the users form information via email to us AND
2) serve up the file for the visitor to download AND
3) give them some sort of note “thank you, we received your info” or drop them on a thank you page url.
Again we can’t just use a confirmation page with a URL link to download the file because we do not want the (file location) link visible or to be able to be copied and distributed anywhere for direct access to it without registering. Unless that link were unique per visitor or would time out after so many hours/days. Hidden would be better.
Very open to suggestions at this point. The file type is a “.msi” and some plugins won’t support that I’ve learned.
]]>1. My permalinks settings – Post name
2. If you are using a static front page – No
3. Polylang settings
3.1 The language is set from content
3.2 Hide URL language information for default language
3.3 Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
I am using the Site Background Slider and it allows to “Show the slider only on Home Page”. If I hide the URL language information for default language, it works OK, but the slider is not showing up on other languages, because I can not hide the URL language information for other languages.
How to Hide URL language information for OTHER languages?
