Hide Standard Language

Hi everybody,

On My buddyboss Installation, i Want to use the groups for something Else. Therefore i Need to change the Word group/groups on all Pages ans Menus to another Word.

I Want to do this by Translating (changing) the word group/groups and use a different Language.

The standard language, which use the Words group/groups, i do Not Want to show. I only Want to Show two translated versions.

Is That possible?

Hello,

I am using polylang, and I would like to create a dropdown option in Elementor (website version), how can I do it?

I would also like to hide a language code/name (but it should still be visible if visiting the url or through browser). The polylang widget in elementor seems like one element with one code, I tried in css but wihout results.

I would appreciate someone can help me with this.

I am using the free version of Polylang (without WPML) in Elementor, and I am trying to do two things in the web version:

1. Dropdown Option – I put a Polylang widget down to the left, showing language code/names, but I would like to show a dropdown option. How can I do it?

2. Hide a language – I would like to hide a language in the widget (but the language should still be visible in case someone visits the specific url or according to the brownser language). I tried with css but the polylang widget seems to be one element with one name.

I would appreciate your help, I have been trying to solve this issue from some time ago, but without positive results.

I want to fully block a language,

I was wondering if would be possible to redirect a language that exists ( but is not intended to be public or visible) to the default language.

I`ve tried something like:
RewriteRule (https://domain.com/)es(/.*) $1en/$2 [NC,L]

Does not work and I presume that Polylang interfere here
Is it ?

Hiding the target language flag in the selector plus this, would be a quick and dirty way to prevent a language for been accessed.

Hide one language in the Language Selector

Hi everyone,

I have a site with 2 languages (italian and french).
Now I have to add english and insert all the english text will take a long time.

When I activate the english language in the qTranslate preference panel, the Language selector in the home page immediately shows the english link (together with french and italian). But at the moment there isn’t any english content.

Is there a way to hide the english link from the language selector?
