HemingwayEx Home Page Messed up

I use HemingwayEx 1.9.1, WordPress.com (by the way: why wasnt i allowed to post to WordPress.com support? My site is .IT but we use WP.COM!!!), love the theme, but our home page is messed up!
1) We cannot set the number of posts in HP: all posts are in HP!
2) cols and rows are messed up, the 2nd row for instance has one post only.
3) I’d like to get some help. Maybe at least one HemingwayEx-user in the world knows how to customize and set for instance 2 or 4 or 6 or X posts in hp…

Drop down menu for HemingwayEX

I would like to know how to make a drop down style menu. My website is https://www.travislocke.com . The drop down would specifically be used for the 3D Art and Photography pages to show the different galleries within.

Hello everyone,

I maintain our camera club website. It is run on WordPress using the HemingwayEX 1.8 theme which has a slidebar. We are using WP Table Reloaded and have just upgraded to ver.1.9.1. This has stopped the slidebar from opening. We have deactivated WP Table Reloaded and the slidebar starts to work again. We think that this must be some sort of JS jQuery conflict but how can this be sorted out.

HemingwayEx 1.8, Dropdown menu and font

Hi,

Im using Hemingway EX 1.8 on my site. I have two small things i want to change. The first is that i have a dropdown menu, but the text dont fit inside that menu, so some letters are outside of it. And the second thing is that i want to use, tahoma as font.

How could i fix those two things?

The drop down menu, is the “Behandlingar” tab

Btw, one more thing, is it possible to set the height of the site, so it has a minimum height say 800px or something like that.

Changing template from 2 column to 1 column

I’m very new to WordPress and I don’t have much coding experience. I’m using a theme called HemingwayEx and it uses two columns in the blogroll. I would like to know how I can change it to 1 column centered so I can display my portfolio images more effectively.

Any help would be much appreciated

Database issue? Only one simple theme works.

I’ve reached a real impasse and I really hope there is a way out without ripping my database apart. Here’s my issue:

When I do a clean install of WordPress, my site works. I can install any theme I want and they all work fine, with any options, widgets, and plugins.

When I have all the plugins deactivated and import my WordPress WXR database, something goes wrong. The database says it loads with no errors and all the posts and pages show up fine… but all the themes stop working and my site breaks*.

The only themes that keep working are Hemingway and HemingwayEx, which I think must be because they do not have widgets enabled. Indeed, when I try to use the slidebar or bottombar options on HemingwayEx, my site breaks*.

*My site breaks by loading completely blank.

Now, my guess is that something must be wrong with my database, right? I exported through WordPress and imported through WordPress; it never gave any errors. Is there another way of checking to see where there might be an error, and if so, how?

Ideas, please?

HemingwayEX doesn’t work on IE7

i use hemingwayEX theme. please check my site aliansi. its works well in may mozilla but not in IE7. i tried to open at the other computer with IE ie doesnt work yet.. but properly for mozilla. can anyone give hand to help me solving this problem? i will be very much thank you

no sidebars defined – error

all of the sidebars were working correctly in my themes until i installed and used hemingwayEX. now that i have decided to switch to another theme, themes that previously worked are saying that no sidebars are defined. i have deleted and reinstalled my wordpress files and something is still broken. what did i break?

Open/close Navigation Tab

Open/close Navigation Tab though it works perfectly in FF, does not seem to work in IE (new and older). It gives a “javascript void0” indication and i dont know how to fix it.
Any ideas, anyone?

IE 7 ignores my theme template!

My website usually looks fine in both Firefox and IE. But just now I looked at it with IE and it’s all messed up! I haven’t changed anything recently. It looks perfect in Firefox: www.mistressemilie.com

I’m using IE 7 and it appears to be ignoring my theme template (HemingwayEx) and only recognizing the CSS.

Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?
