Setup Facebook fan box for free wordrpess

I have a friend who wants to place a Facebook Fan box into his right sidebar as a Widget.

The fact is that with “free WordPress” I don’t know how to do this.

I tried the “Text” widget and place the Facebook iframe from the generator and then WP changes the code automaticly and only shows text.

I can’t go in the editor and I can’t even find the way to had new widgets.

Can some one help me?

Hi,

I have to display a simple registration form which has got the provision for add interests etc on a wordpress page. So ai have installed the ‘Register plus’ plugin. i also activated it. But could anyone tell me how can I display the registration form in a page ..? I think there is some tags that can be included in the post like other plugins…but i could not find any..Please Help me.!! ..Is there any other suitable plugin for this purpose…It will be a great help if someone explains me the procedure that has to be followed after the installation..?

Hi guys

i am not familiar with wordpress, all i know is that its used on www.krucialkeys.com/blog , which is the site i cannot comment on. registration is simple and doesnt require any pc requirements, all u need is user name and email.

i have registered and tried to submit a comment but after posting the comment the page loads and the comment doesnt appear, i dont receive an error message or anything, and when i re-enter the message it says ‘duplicate message detected’. i thought that it would take a while for it to show up cos of the moderator but it didnt after 1 or 2 days either. tried using IE and Firefox.

on the left hand side of the homepage there is a link to wordpress where u can find what version is being used for further info.

i thought the program may conflict with java so i deleted it.

i dont have wordpress downloaded, do i need to in order to comment on a blog? or do i need to change pc settings?

hope someone out there knows the $64,000 question!
