Hi, so I am having problems, again, with png and jpeg files loosing quality on websites. I would like to use svg instead, but a few, even with compression, are too big. If I use Add Image From?URL, store them in another page just for it, when people load the image from url in the page, it will still be heavy?

Caused huge trouble on SEO

Pros: Elegant design with many options. Lots of features.

Cons: Added huge chunk of CSS codes on each webpage. For example, a page of about less than 100kB size is increased to more than 200kB after installing the plugin. Got punished by some search engines and the website ranking dropped from first page to nowhere to be found.

Advice: Please keep the code concise. The large overhead of CSS codes added to each web page is a huge issue. Had to uninstall for SEO purpose.

How can I embed a hubspot form without using the plugin?

The plugin is an overkill. Heavy like an elephant, paralyzes the website from loading. Is also intrusive and harness data that we are no seeking to collect.

Now that it has most of the functionality of the old Short URL plugin, I kind of like it again, but I didn’t really need all of the extras like tracking and whatnot. I just needed something that made a short URL that could be detected as the short URL and displayed on the post/page. It would be nice if there was a kind of Shortify Lite that did just that, and where you could bulk opt out of certain post types like Random Content, which some of us still use. My other issue with it is the intrusive ads for the pro version. Now, no matter what you are trying to do at the moment, when you dismiss, it redirects you to the Shortify. I am, at this point, reconsidering using this at all. If this is going to be every time I go into my admin, I’m opting out. It’s just not worth it if I have to fight with this thing every time. Honestly I’d take a reasonably priced pro version that was a lite version like the old Short URL without all the bulk and promised no more intrusive ads. It’s like they took a near perfect plugin and made it worse for no good reason.

I have Postie enabled and it slows down WordPress admin(dashboard). It takes about 10 seconds to open any menu. Page movement speed within each menu is not slow.

Is there a way to set up Postie that doesn’t affect WordPress as a whole as much as possible?

The plugin works really well and is easy to configure. I wonder why it is so heavy. The “vendor” folder is 30mb. Is there a possibility to reduce this by deleting some files? I tried to do it but it gave a fatal error.

Resource heavy plugin with support incapable of helping

If you want to make your woocommerce store 2-5 times slower (depending on how heavy the rest of your site is) this is the perfect plugin for you. I’ve been using this for the past 5 years and this was the worst decision i made back then as i’ve been struggling since then with high resource usage.

If you are a developer and you have a serious problem don’t even try to contact their support. You will lose weeks just to make them “replicate the issue”.

If you have just a blog or something less resource heavy than a woocommerce store maybe it will fit your needs. But if you want a fast and not bloating site then this plugin is a no go.

Title says it all. This is essential if you’re working with a site that has an expansive gallery. It’s so easy to let these get out of hand and consume much of the server’s resources, especially storage. This plugin is definitely worth it.

On the surface this plugin sounds like a great idea, but it makes my site super heavy. It duplicates my load time and Google will hammer me for that. I loved it but I had to remove it.
