Front page banner and text

Hello,
I’m using the WPKites theme.

1- I’ve been able to change the banner image on the home page however it’s too large. What is the required size of the image so I can crop it to fit better. Also would be great to remove the opaque overlay.
2- There’s a few lines of text ON the banner image which I would like to remove, however I cannot find where I can make those changes. The “welcome to” is one and the word “Home” is on there twice.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there,

I have 2 issues:

1. The image for the banner section homepage has the size that the theme suggests.
But when I set it up, the image appears cut. I tried to insert a CSS code that I saw
in similar questions here, but it didn’t work out;

2. I don’t want to show the feature image in the header of webpages. How can I do that?
What is the regular size of the image that goes in the header?

Add a new menu above the top header row

hi,

i created a secondary menu with social media links (and icons) that is correctly displayed in the 4th column of the page footer via the specific widget.

I would like the same menu to be displayed on a top row (now blue and empty) above the main menu row, which i managed to identify in header.php

What’s the correct php code to display this secondary menu?

i also would like to define the height of this menu’s images according to the row, and the display.

Another question (related to the main one): i managed to create the “blue” row above the main row, but i see it isn’t 100% wide but has paddings. how to fix it?

Removing Header banner from mobile version, human theme

Dear Users,
i have the Hueman (Pro) Theme. For mobile devices I’d like to hide the header banner image, otherwise it doesn’t look nice. How is that possible? I tried additional CSS but i couldn’t find a solution. Thank you!

Change page header colour

The standard theme has a red banner across the top of every page with either the page name or post name on the left side of the page and the breadcrumb trail on the right hand side of the page. These text items are animated in from left and right as the page is loaded.

I would like to change this red colour to blue, but cannot find the place in the Customiser to enable this change.

I would be grateful for some assistance with this problem please.

Remove Header Banner

I’m trying to remove/hide the header banner but still show the logo in the same location to the left of the menu. I can’t get rid of that extra ribbon of color. I’m guessing that header banner is what’s causing the menu color to be darker than it is supposed to be (it’s supposed to be the color of the banner I’m trying to get rid of). I’m also trying to keep the menu from turning white when scrolling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Picture cannot be set at Header / Banner section

I’m having a problem with these theme as when I’m planning to insert a picture at Header/Banner section, it keep asking for crop or unable to see anything even thought I’m following their pixel size recommendation.

It happen on the Logo & Site Icon also. I can’t put any picture at all. Kindly help me with these or if you have any ideas on which size should I been using.

Hi,

I like how WP Simple is looking, however I want to tweak the white box that appears in the Header Banner to have rounder corners, and a thicker white border.

Can you please help me CSS this?
