When I add videos from youtube, 1080P and 4K videos are shown as 480 or 720 at maximum. Can’t we do this in their normal values?

I’d like to serve images the best way possible, including retina images. But I can’t find a decent tutorial at your on how to set this up…

Yes, there are 2 blog posts (from 2016 and 2016, by the way); and they tell something about an extra plugin which creates retina images.

But I just don’t get it.

Imagine I have a website with a content width of 720 pixels. And I know how to use Photoshop. What do I have to do for an image used at a regular webpage, shown full width (720px)? What width does the image need to be when saving from Photoshop: 720px or 1440px? How do I need to name it? Or do I have to save 2 seperate images (one at 720px and one at 1440px)? How do I use the additional plugin WP Retina 2x? How do I use Shortpixel? How does this all work together?

I just don’t get it.

Please, write an article that just explains everything, and gives a step-by-step tutorial for best practice.

This plugin is so amazing that it should be included in default WordPress But I know that WordPress is like puzzle which you build as you want through plugins. Easy to use, clear with many options and localized to my local language – Slovakia. I using it on my Slovakia webpage for learning German language. I decided to write a review of this plugin and I see that author of this plugin is from Germany, what a coincidence :-O

It would be good to add option to color specified text in table. And it would be good to add option to make some separator in table.

I cannot believe that the standard format of the logo is standard def’ when you consider that all iOS devices are now Retina / and many people use hi res’ normal screens; you can have a sharp looking website and then a low res logo… cmon’ WordPress!

Does anyone know how to make the logo Retina ready? What code and where to put…

I just need to make the small logo top left, higher definition / retina ready. Normally, you can upload a large logo and simply resize using HTML, and retina screens produce a sharp image.

How can I do this with the logo for Onepress header?

I’m uploading an illustrator file to my site: lamecaniquegenerale.fr as header, but even if the file is supposed to be in vector I’m seeing each time how the main picture (title and logo) gets pixalised.

Anybody has some tips?
