If someone could please help me fix this problem or point me in the right direction that would be awesome. I’m stumped on this one and I’m not sure how to fix it.

Basically when I go to the website, www.pitpromx.com, I get this error:

Warning: gzuncompress(): data error in /home/pitpro/public_html/index.php on line 1

This is line 1 of index.php:

<?php get_header(); ?>

I de-activated all the plugins and the problem still persisted. I reached out to the creator of the theme and they said I should talk to my webhost for tech support. That didn’t sound right so I figured I would check here first.

I’ve been searching the forums and Google for answers on this one, but to no avail. Was hoping someone here could help me out.

My technical skills are limited, and I’m learning as I go… please go easy!

This site was working perfectly ok but I noticed this morning that only the top left hand featured is working and the category widget in the sidebar says “no categories”!!

Has anybody come across this before?

I have a plugin, Timber, to report errors and it shows the one below. I guess it is to do with my missing pieces, but not too sure.

I’ve been getting hit pretty hard by various hacks lately….footer injection, etc. Pretty much most of the various hacks people have listed on here. I’ve read everything posted on it, I’ve taken every step to stop it. It keeps happening. I am on shared hosting, I’m beginning to think that must be my problem. ANyway, today my admin area was all jacked up. I poked around and found a bunch of rogue code, so I just did another fresh install. Now I’m getting these error codes thrown at me all over my admin pages. Any ideas?
