I have installed your plugin earlier today, and with just some basic fields it works like a charm!
However, my MailChimp list has a Group with 3 possible values. And I would like to set a default value for this grouping for each user that subscribes using the CF7 form. This field basically determines if they would receive a newsletter daily/weekly/monthly.
What (short)code do I use to add that Groupings/Interests field to the CF7 form and make sure it is sent to MailChimp?
Thanks for your help

]]>I’d like to replace some groups (with what the user selected) and keep some groups as-is. The fields I’d like to keep as-is are submitted via the form to set an initial value though, to pass our subscribers through phases like interested, setup, installed, active, inactive.
Is it possible to pick behavior of overwriting/adding/leaving as-is per field?

for Admin Label on a Text Box, this DOES work.
When I add e.g. mc4wp-GROUPINGS[2061][]
for Admin Label on a List, with group names as values, this does NOT work.
It looks to me that the translation fails because of the []
.
I am using MailChimp for WordPress version 3.1.4, and Ninja Forms version 2.9.37.

]]>Is there a way to get Interest Groupings created in MailChimp on Contact Form 7?
I need to have a checkbox for age verification, and I tried using the following in my CF7 code:
[acceptance mc4wp-GROUPINGS[9741][]]
Which just results in this on my page:
[]]
The square brackets from the MailChimp name are conflicting with the CF7 containers. Any help or advice you can offer is appreciated, thanks!

]]>I am busy adding products to my site. I do not know how to do the following:
Lets say I have a brand on my website, for example Samsung. I have TVs listed under Samsung, and washing machines, DVD players, radios, etc.
If I want to send users a link to all the Samsung washing machines, how would I accomplish something like this?
Or if I want to send them a link of all the new Samsung washing machines?

It shows the “subscribe to updates” box, but it doesn’t show the groupings. I’m not sure how to make the grouping options appear, since this isn’t a normal page that you’d post HTML into.
NOTE: I’ve read, re-read, and triple read this page:
https://mc4wp.com/kb/add-groupings-choice-comment-form/
I’m totally confused on it. If that’s the solution, I may need a little hand-holding. Specifically:
Step 3: this is what confuses me … in step 2, am I supposed to add the “mc4wp-” prefix in front of my groupings in that HTML that’s generated? Because my generated HTML doesn’t look anything like the snippet that is shown on the page there in Step 3. What portion of the “snippet” in Step 3 do we replace w/ our generated HTML? Can you explain exactly where we replace our generated HTML? Then, does this get pasted at the end of the functions.php file? Our theme’s function.php is pretty short and unmodified.
