Does Wise Chat have the option to show only specific users in the chat based on the current user’s criteria? For example, if I have players as users, each with a “club” field, can an online user from Club (A) see only other users from Club (A) in the chat room, and not users from other clubs? Similarly, every player should only see users from their own club.

The plugin is simple to install and works exactly the way I would expect a group chat to work. It doesn’t get in your way.

Note: When I installed the SAC, I was getting an Access Denied error whenever I tried to send a chat. My security plugin had locked the plugin directory. I disabled that feature in my security plugin and all worked perfectly

Hello,

can you please write me if it is possible with your plugin, that there are more than one receiver of whatsapp message from webpage. So every time someone would write text, group would be created and message from guest/visitor would be send to that new group on whatsapp. If someone then replies, all others would see that.

This plugin may work OK right out-of-the-box and “as is”, but if you know you’re looking at the possibility of needing to customize a plugin to get just the right chat feature for your website… this plugin is NOT it. Even if you anticipate only slight modifications, this plugin is NOT for you. For example, you won’t get access to CSS styling as you get with most WP plugins. If you’re not an advanced code writer, you’ll need to hire a developer at extra expense to get what you want. Can’t recommend this plugin because Support is NOT all that helpful. Best advice… skip it!

I’ve got the private messaging set up, but I can’t figure out how to add groups. I am using BuddyPress and have two groups there currently, I would like to add group chats for those groups as well as group chats for other purposes (e.g. all users, moderators, etc) and would like members to also be able to create their own chat groups with their friends. Is this possible?

I read the documentation but I don’t understand how to implement it and create the groups I need. And if I create the groups, can they only be accessible to certain members? Can members view lists of groups and join them?

I have seen rumble chat but the interface doesn’t look good.
I also tried Commetchat and found it not reliable.
I have seen a chat that uses agora for video calls but I can no find it anymore.

Hello,

I have managed to iframe a YouTube live chat on my website below the livestream itself, but now I would like to have a group chat function so team members can communicate with other team members about the video and so other teams can’t read it.
Basicly like WhatsApp for example.

Is their a way to do this with YouTube chat of another chat function?

To be clear, this is want I want:
– private group chat.
– widely used service, so everybody can login and knows how it works.
– should be embedded on the website.

Hopefully somebody can help me with this.
