Hi,

1. I am trying to use this plugin to allow the Buddypress group owner to add their own multisite blog to the group, not anyone else’s as this leads to spammy duplicate content. Is this possible?

2. Can I restrict it to list only a certain custom post type?

Does anyone here know of a WordPress plugin for a Group weblog, that would let us implement AdSense code based on author of the article, so that every author would be earning revenue to their own Google AdSense account on the same blog?

I know there should be one, I can’t find it!

I have a WordPress.com group blog running on the P2 theme. I’m considering moving it to a self-hosted www.remarpro.com blog. I’ve been looking into my options, but I can’t find a recent thread about setting up a group blog on www.remarpro.com, and many of the related docs I find in the codex feature a warning about being obsolete.

Can anyone tell me if group blogs are possible in WordPress 3.0.1? I don’t need details at this point – just, generally speaking, how is it done?

Specifically, I want unlimited amounts of people to be able to post and publish new entries and comments from the front page, but I want to be the only one with access to the Dashboard.

I’m starting a multi-author blog but so far I’ve found nothing but completely incapable themes! Sadly, my php knowledge is below zero so I’ve no idea how to make one. All I can do is adjust an existing theme here T_T. So please, PLEASE, can anyone tell me where I can find a decent wordpress theme for this use? I want a blog, preferably with three columns and above those columns an ‘About’, but most importantly one where the author is mentioned in the blog post and where you can click the name so I can make author pages as well? Plugins and other tips are welcome as well :). I’m so frustrated!

Sending multiple invites

Hi,
I run a group blog which i’m considering moving to WordPress from Typepad (www.nikkishell.typepad.com/wardroberefashion). Before i do i need to know if there is a way for me to send multiple invites to people to give them the ability to contribute to the blog.

I send invites every 2 months to hundreds of people and would like to be able to send the invites all in one go, not one at a time. Any suggestions?

Two Authors on One Page

Hi All,

I have been asking around on user forums for a while about how to have posts from 2 different authors appear on the one page. The reason being that I wanted to include my sister on my blog, and have us share a “split screen”, so to speak, with each of our most recent posts listed in order.

I was told that it couldn’t be done by a few people, and others referred me to the only known template at https://www.milamira.cz/, which not being in English wasn’t much help.

Anyway, the whole point of this post is to gloat that after days of going blind working on this damn template I have (almost) finished it!

I just need to do a bit more work on the top menu, and then it will be good to go.

I based the template on one I downloaded from the theme library, but because this is the first template I have done more to than just changing the header image or background tile, I’m not sure how to go about packaging it for others to use (though I’m not sure if anyone else would want a 2 author blog!).

So that’s it! I really just wanted to get peoples opinions on it

I know this thing has the potential to become a moderation nightmare, but I suppose that could be viewed as a good problem to have if it means I’m getting a lot of visitors and contributors. Right now I’ve got close to zero! Still young.

Comments: how can authors be notified of comments to their posts

I’m administrator for a group blog. All comments must be moderated. I am the only one receiving notice of new comments submitted. Is there a way that the post author can be notified when there’s a new comment to their post rather than just notifying me, the administrator? Each author would like to approve their own comments. I’ve set up roles so that they have permission to approve or disapprove a comment, but I can’t figure out an automatic way to notify them of new comments.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
