Hi,

Is it possible to add more leaderboard banners to the homepage of the a website? We have the standard top banner at 728×90 and the boss would like to now add a banner between the Latest News on the homepage under every 2 rows that are visible. When I try to edit the homepage it won’t open in elementor so I cant see if its possible and I cant workout where the Latest News on the homepage is to edit in the backend. Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense this is way above anything I have ever done in wordpress.

Google authenticates user, but then setup still asks for Connect

When trying to setup Google Listings & Ads the first screen has “Set up your accounts” it has is connected fine to WordPress, and I click on the button under Google to Connect, it asks for the user which I authenticated, then says 5 services connected, but then goes back to the same screen saying Connect as a button.

No matter what I do it just goes back. Google login says it is connected but the setup screen still asks to be connected.

widget layer riding over sticky menu

Hi Chris:

With the widget View only, the content on “.strong-view.default-widget” rides over the sticky menu; as does the content on “.strong-view.simple .testimonial-inner”.

Full page View is fine.

However I have not been able to isolate them directly and the only solution was to z-index them using “.strong-view.default-widget * ” and “.strong-view.simple *”

I colored them red too so they are easy to find in the inspector – commented out.

I tested first by setting z-index on the sticky header to 999999 with no result. The header is using “Sticky Menu (or Anything!)” plugin with no issues so far.

Chrome and Firefox, and on a test page as well https://teacherron.com/general-contact-form/

EDIT – causes positioning problems for top of sidebar on mobile with the s-index already set to 1.

Adding Space between Google Ads and blog entry

If you look at the first blog entry you will notice the title is hard to find – it’s scrunched up so close to the Google ads above it. Also, the Google ads are too big. what can I do to resolve this?

I’ve been slowly, slowly making my way in creating a Child Theme for Twenty Twelve.

I’ve managed to add a Google banner ad by reading advice on this forum.
According to directions, I placed code in header.php just above

. But the ad appears below my header and it’s to the left. I’d like to center it and place it at the very top, above my custom header. Could someone kindly help?

This forum has been very helpful but as I’m NOT well versed in coding please explain step by step!
