Diffing the changes via wordfence I see these changes
I can’t even revert back or delete the files from within wordfence, it’s a read only filesystem. I don’t understand why they did it or how since it’s a read only filesystem. I don’t even understand what those orig files are, maybe a backup before they edited the files.
I have another website for someone else, also hosted on Godaddy managed VPS, I didn’t encounter such issue. Anyone hosting who has encountered this issue?
]]>I’m using MailPoet on a self hosted WordPress. My front-end MailPoet forms are providing the error of “Cannot send confirmation email”. The unconfirmed subscription does appear within the MailPoet Plugin Subscriber’s List.
The Website is using the following components:
Domain Registrar, Hosting Account, & Cloudflare – all three make use of DNS Settings. Perhaps I’m mixing them incorrectly. What is the proper configuration for GoDaddy, Inmotion Hosting, & Cloudflare for ensuring success with the MailPoet Sending Service.
Currently:
I’ve routed something incorrectly. What is the correct usage?
Thank you ahead of time.
]]>I finally realized the issue when I could not find my files on CPanel File Manager/PHPMyAdmin because LWC’s files were filed under another one of my sites. I had a rep fix this issue by finally connecting the domain LWC to the hosting server I paid for. I had to manually import the database files to this new hosting environment, (a zip file from File Manager and an SQL file for the PHPMyAdmin), and the connection was established. I had to configure a new WordPress site, but the plugins and theme were recovered. However, none of my media or products are showing up. After asking GoDaddy about this, they said they could not help and that WordPress was the one not accepting these files from File Manager.
All of my media and other files ARE in fact in the database, but they are simply not displaying/reading/importing onto this new site. Is this an issue that can be fixed with a simple config, or does this need to be handled by someone from WordPress.com? I only have www.remarpro.com. I am okay with starting a new site because the SEO on LWC was incredibly slow to index on Google Search Console (I imagine because it was a subdomain), but would it be better to just continue letting my site run as a subdomain like it has been? Any help is appreciated!
]]>I’m having an issue with GoDaddy and Starter Templates. Every time I activate the plugin and then hit “get started”, I’m taken to a 404 page. Per one of the recommendations I found online, I added the following code to my .htaccess file but to no avail.
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10m
</IfModule>
I’d appreciate any assistance with this matter. I’m a big fan of Astra themes which appear to work fine on other hosting platforms like Siteground. This is my first time using it with Godaddy. Thanks in advance!

]]>Anyone here have suggestions on how to debug this, or have success migrating a fairly straightforward GoDaddy site? Thanks in advance.
]]>I contacted GoDaddy and have been conversing with them for the past 2 hours, explaining that this issue has never happened before with HostGator or Bluehost. I was connected with the advanced team, and even after 2 hours, they said everything is fine with the hosting and that it’s an issue with Astra. I also installed other themes, and they’re working fine—it’s just Astra that’s not. They have tried everything, including working with .htaccess and trying different PHP versions, but those pages still show 404 errors.
Again, as I said, I literally spent 2 hours chatting with them, and now I’m here. Please help!
Also, there is nothing to attach as a screenshot, it’s that common 404 error.
]]>WP Mail SMTP recommends its because mail A cord is proxied. Removed mail A cord from proxy and contact form still not sending emails, showing the same error.
DNS records in Cloudflare now are the same as they were on GoDaddy before.
What am I missing?
Why contact form does not send emails after website added to Cloudflare with exact DNS records
Look at image for DNS records present on GoDaddy and now on Cloudflare.
What i have tried so far:
Reset permissions on files for akismet plugin directory. File at issue is class.akismet-rest-api.php
Backup folder and reinstall akismet.
Delete plugin akismet folder and reinstall, plugin won’t activate
