Connectivity test also reveals port 25 Outbound = Closed but shows service Available SMTP in green. StartTLS shows a Yes with a Lock.

Thanks in advance for your guidance. Been on the phone multiple times with Godaddy. And they have run multiple checks all seeming to be ok.

Any solution at this point is fine with me.

Email problem with my installation

Hello

I’m using WordPress 4.2.2 running SCRN theme.

When the contact form is submitted there is a success message but not emails ever arrive.

I’ve tried sending them to our Google apps email address as well as an iCloud email address, but no luck.

I’ve tried various browsers but no luck

I’ve tried using the contact form built into the theme as well as “contact form 7” and “BWS contact form” all perform the same – success message but no email

I’m using Go Daddy to host the site… I changed one of the MX records to set up the gmail account which seems to be working properly, but maybe I missed something else?

I don’t know what else to check, please help!

This plugin looks amazing, but I can’t use so far, due I’ve been geeting this error below.
I tried using more than one google account however all finished in error.

“You have configured OAuth 2.0 authentication, but have not received permission to use it. Grant permission with Google.”

Hi I’ve been having a major problem… Notifications from my website are not sent (emails, form registrations etc.)!!! I manages to fix the probelm by installing postman-smtp, everything worked but I don’t know how long it worked because now (and for a few weeks now)… Not working!

Incorrect Authentication Data

Hi there. I’m having a problem receiving emails from my Contact Form7 plugin, so I installed Postman hoping it would fix the problem. So far the configuration looks good, however when I send the test email I get an “Incorrect Authentication Data” notice. My email host is through GoDaddy (although I’m hearing they’re not a good choice). Connectivity check says port 25 and port 443 are open, port 465 and 587 are closed. Double checked my login credentials and everything looks correct.

Any ideas as to how to fix the issue?

Hi. I have a client using GoDaddy and the confirmation emails from forms don’t always show up. I’m trying your plugin, but get “Incorrect Authentication Data” when a test is sent during setup. During the setup wizard, what should I be putting in the Authentication fields “How will you prove your identity to the MSA”?

Different errors on different contact forms

Everything was working perfectly until I realized we weren’t receiving submissions from our contact form like we usually do Tuesday morning. Nothing has been changed as far as our contact forms go, so this kind of sparked out of the blue. I have been trying to figure this out for a few days now. I have been on the phone with GoDaddy for hours and according to them it is not a server issue. We are running Contact Form 7 with Postman. When someone tries to submit on our contact form they receive the “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.” The Postman log status is labeling these as either “The server has reached its limit for processing requests from your host. Please try again later.” or “Invalid e-mail address: email” depending on the contact form. The email I’m entering is mine so it’s valid, and no changes have been made. I have really been trying to figure this out by reading through all the posts, but since GoDaddy is for sure it’s not on their end this was my last resort!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!!

Hey I’m getting an “Incorrect authentication data” response when i run the test email. when i do connectivity test i get the following summary:

I’m use to making an imap/smtp connection through port 587 TLS and never had an issue. Office 365 resource here.

PLease let me know if you think this is a godaddy issue, php issue, wordpress issue, or office365.

Postman and Contact Form 7 user defined email

I’ve got a Contact Form 7 form on a site that asks the user for their email. Is it possible to get Postman to grab that email and put it in the FROM field?

Said email can’t go in the Envelope field because we have to use gmail to be able to send outside of godaddy

Mail not arriving when set to my own domain

Hi! I’m setting up a new install of CF7 and am only receiving my form submissions when I use my own email address as the recipeint. If I use the one I actually need to use – an address ending with my client’s domain – it fails. (The “success” message and green box are seen on the form.)

I’ve tried two client-domain addresses, which are both set to forward to me and which I receive fine if I send a plain email to them from my regular email client. But they both fail with the contact form.
