I was wondering if there is any way for me to update the Merriweather font on my site so that it can handle characters from the Latin Extended set, such as ?, ?, ?, etc.? According to Google Fonts, the latest version of the Merriweather font supports these characters: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Merriweather/glyphs.
Since Lato does not support Latin Extended, I would like to swap it for the font ‘Open Sans’. Could you please advise on whether and how I can do this?
Tusen tack!

[********edit: this edited out the non-ascii glyph amp-hash-eight-two-zero-three that was between the H and the I.********]
when inserted into a comment, bypasses the profanity filter. I’ve tried entering this into the profanity filter but it does not work to block the comment. A big, bold BULLS*IT is directly posted without moderation.
What can I do to clean comments of non-ascii glyphs? Are there any ways I can block this? I have to admit that I”m surprised this works in the first place.

]]>The only way I can work around this is:
1) do not go into HTML view as this kills it
2) manually delete and re-input every symbol by hand
This works but is incredibly tricky and fiddly for long posts. Also if you accidentally miss a grammar symbol then you will have to go through and do them all again.
So frustrating! Has anybody else had this problem and how do you fix it?
]]>WP-Cache breaks all my Unicode/UF-8 glyphs in the cached version. The appear the same way as when served with another charset. I think WP-Cache does not respect my charset and therby cannot pressent the glyphs properly.
How can I fix this? Any alternates to WP-Cache?
