.wpmenucart-icon-shopping-cart-0:before {
content: “\f291”;
}
But with the last update, the icon disappears into a square, Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks in advance!

]]>I’m trying to customize the look to be very minimal – no gradients, borders, etc for menus, buttons, and so forth. The one thing I’m having trouble with is the navbar menu’s dropdown menus: when they drop down, the dropdown menu itself has a small upwards-pointing arrow (almost invisible) pointing back to the main menu item.
How do I get rid of it?
I’ve tried to find it in the theme resources (assuming it’s an image) and searching the applied CSS for images and border icons, but haven’t found it.
Thankyou for your time!
Cheers,
David

]]>On my blog https://astroaficionado.net, I have the following set-up for links (using the Oulipo theme that I’ve modded to my liking)
.entry a, .navigation a {
color: #000;
text-decoration: underline;
}
a:hover {
background-color: #4f4f4f;
}
I also have the Daring Fireball linked list plugin set up, adds a glyph at the end of my “linked list” posts (as seen on the first post on the blog with the diamond)
My problem is, I don’t want this glyph to have the same style as the general links on my bog. More precisely, I don’t want the black hover background, the underline, and I want the hover-over colour to be blue (don’t have a specific hex code off the top of my head).
Here is the part of index.php containing the permalink glyph code:

Any help is very appreciated. Hope I was clear enough.

]]>I’m new to WordPress and clueless to php scripting, so I’m lost here… I’ve tried to follow the instructions on how to widgetize the Glyph 1.0 theme so I can use the Sidebar widget. But the code is too different from the example given in the docs, and I can’t work out what I’m supposed to do.
Can someone lend a hand here? Has anyone made this mod to Capemaster’s very pretty theme? My blog is here:

As you can see, all ‘ and ” are replaced with the little box/missing character glyph. This only shows up in some RSS readers, Trillian (when someone copies and sends some text) and the Konqueror browser. The page itself, mind you, loads just fine in Firefox (Windows and Linux), Opera and IE.
Normally I wouldn’t care so much, but I’m actually starting to loose readers because of this. In the last few days, several have told me the boxes make it too hard to read.
So does anyone know how I can get rid of that little box? I’ve put too much time into my WP installs to switch, but I can’t keep losing readers over this. Any help or advice on solving this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
