My site not showing in Global tags

Hi, i have had my blog for about a year and half and we get about 800 to 1,000 visits per day but the domain used to host an older version of the site so its been around since 2003. Last year it was upgraded by someone who didnt have a clue. (long story) but my TAGS have NEVER shown up in the global tag list so we are missing out on traffic. The site has just been upgraded to latest core, plus installed zemanta and jetpack. My tags have NEVER shown up in global tags list, can anyone suggest why and what to do to remedy this? Thanks!

Hi everyone.
I’ve had a hosted wordpress.com blog for a while and I really like the amount of traffic I get from the wordpress.com community (as little as that may be ).

However I just moved over to a self-hosted blog so I can use the cool plugins and stuff. But how do I do this without losing the WP.com traffic? How do I mesh the WordPress.com blog with the self hosted blog so my post tags can show up in the global dashboard?

I mean, I know it can be done because I’ve seen self hosted blogs whose post categories/tags show up on the WordPress.com/tags list. I just can’t figure out how.

Anyone?… can ya help a WP noob out a little. (where it says “noob” please translate as: I have no idea how to write code, nor do I know techno-speak or jargon. Please keep explanations as idiot-proof as possible.)

Any ideas or advice is much appreciated.

Is there a way to disable global tags in 3.0 multisite? I want each site to be independant of the others and have seperate tags, ect.

1. We need global tags for self hosted wordpress blogs.

2. I want to be able to tag my facebook friends off blog posts on wordpress.com AND self hosted wordpress sites (and vice versa).
