Terrible customer service

The plugin worked fine for a while but today I got an error message stating that the plugin was causing a fatal error. I tried to address it by redownloading the plugins. So I logged into their site and clicked the download link. It kept taking me back to the login page. I then clicked the support button for “premium” members. That also didn’t work. Then I noticed that it was set to auto-renew at almost $400/year for the (3) services I signed up for with them. Ultimately I went to cancel and they offered a 30% discount which is still higher than the Black Friday price. So it’s just not worth it. I’ve gone ahead and canceled it. I will export my loyalty points and transfer my members to another plugin once I decide on it. For now, I’ve disabled the plugin with the hope that it will stop causing the error in wordpress. Overall it wasn’t bad but this experience was not good. Especially so close to Black Friday. I would go with someone else.

Very different Experience

I have had a very different experience than most of the reviews here. After creating a site with Colibri, I started losing the ability to edit pages. It would try to load the page in the editor then just cycle forever. One by one I lost the ability to edit anything. I now have an active site that I can’t update at all.
Support eventually checked it out and said it was a server issue. I did everything I could on the server side (where all of my other non-Colibri sites work flawlessly, btw) and even upgraded my hosting to have more resources but it still doesn’t work. It’s basically a complete breakdown of the system.
As far as the editor itself, it’s fine. It’s got some holes, odd quirks and glitches and often publishes drafts of pages on its own, but it’s okay as a content manager as long as you can get it to actually edit.
Personally, I will never use it again with the risk of losing access all the work I put in on this site.

Bad: WordFence pushed out an update that made multiple websites crash. Worse: It specifically impacted paying customers. Worst: They had no way of fixing it, meaning that website owners need to fix their mistake.

I suppose you can’t hack a site that isn’t working…

Ok I really love these galleries a lot but when I was using it through the Elementor editor, if I put several galleries on one page, and edited them to be different galleries, they would publish as the same gallery. I somehow figured out that they did this only if you made a duplicate of a gallery. When I deleted the duplicates and just made new galleries in each spot, they worked. But there are lots of great options and it is exactly what I wanted on my website.

I would give it 5 stars because of creativity and features; but a feature called “on demand asset loading” ,which should speed up your site by loading assets (js, css, pics etc.) whenever needed, made some of my main css codes stop working which affected some critical parts of my frontend. You can’t turn this feature on or off, it just is there and won’t stop even by deleting the plugin.
About the support team: I immediately contacted support and It took more than 30 hours for them to respond; and even then they responded I should make a ticket, which itself is a procedure.
Now it’s been more than 2 days and nobody gave me a solution for just properly DELETE the plugin and its database tables and it caused me lots of troubles and embarrassment.
You should notice that the most important thing for a website owner is stability of the website and when your website is not up for 2 days, well, you are not having it.

Does not work at all.

I wanted to try the free version before I buy the pro version. I’m glad I did because the free version does not work. Nothing drops down when you click on the plus sign or title.
Going to look elsewhere for a similar plugin that actually works.

Only Some Categories

A lot of people felt this plug-in is glitchy or hard to use. There was a bit of figuring out to do, but it works fine! The only thing that might be confusing is that you can’t actually set conditions categories/pages unless they are published and IN USE!

So its not that the categories aren’t showing up, its just that the only options that show up are the ones that are in use.

Fantastic But Not Updated

This plugin is the best audio playlist manager that I have come across or used, definitely. It makes creating and displaying MP3 playlists easy, smooth and beautiful. However, it has not been updated in quite sometime, and although it works on WP 5.2, it causes a weird glitch. When trying to edit the HTML of a page that has Cue’s shortcodes on it, the WYSSIWIG displays an error and won’t let me edit anything. I have to disable the plugin, make the changes, then reactivate the plugin.

Aside from that glitch, it’s a great plugin. But I fear after a year+ of no updates this plugin is being abandoned, and eventually I’ll have to move to something else.

I so much want Gutenberg to work. I think it’s a fabulous idea in some respects. WordPress is due for a major cleanup of the big blank editing screen – that’s why I use Advanced Custom Fields for everything.

However, I’m afraid it’s a dog!

We run over 400 WordPress sites for clients.

I’ve now setup 3 with Gutenberg and handed over to clients. In each of the 3 cases, the clients keep getting error messages ‘updating failed’ (whatever that means). In each of the 3 cases, I’ve had to roll them back to the classic editor. These haven’t been complicated sites.

Surely, surely, these things can be ironed out soon! How many iterations will it take before it’s working?

Either get it sorted SOON or turn it into an optional plugin. Don’t force this on 30% of the world’s websites as a half-baked, work-in-progress.
