I’ve tried lots of donation plugins and few are as comprehensive and solid as Give. Sure, there’s some cost, but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR (as always).

There is a lot of complication in this donation scene and Give largely makes it ALL turnkey, including integrations with multiple gateways and newsletter services like MailChimp and many other features both third party and their own. Add to this excellent support.

Seriously, you can fuss with a whole bunch of manual integrations and endless troubleshooting over the near and longterm or you can go with a total solution that more or less simply works. It’s not perfect but I wouldn’t expect anything to be at this level of features and functionality. When something fails, like I said, the support is great.

Ive been using Give across multiple sites for over 5 years and I’ve had next to no problems. Anything that popped up was easily fixed by me or with a help by a support rep. Once they even offered to login in a limited way to do a setup for me! That’s solid service for a reliable tool.

PHP Warning: Illegal string offset form_id

I am using WordPress 4.9.8 and Give plugin version 2.2.5. I am getting a few errors when I try to view my donations in the WordPress backend.

It says Donation: (donor missing) with the brackets and Donation Form: Untitled and then when I click on Details, I see a few PHP errors: Warning: Illegal string offset 'form_id'.... wp-content\plugins\give\includes\admin\payments\view-payment-details.php on line 405 and Warning: Illegal string offset 'form_id'.... wp-content\plugins\give\includes\admin\payments\view-payment-details.php on line 419 and Warning: Illegal string offset 'form_id'.... wp-content\plugins\give\includes\admin\payments\view-payment-details.php on line 438 n/a

In the meantime, I reverted back to the older version of this plugin and things seems to work fine. So that tells me that the Give plugin version 2.2.5 has problems.

Is there anyone else having the same problems? Is there a fix to this or should I wait until the next release?

Changing direction of Form to RTL

I’ve tried this in the page with shortcode, but with no luck.

Donations filter by form name not working

I am using the Give Donation plugin version 2.1.3 with WordPress 4.9.6. The plugin works good so far. I have about 10 donation forms created and I have received over 2 dozen donations so far.

The problem is when I log into WordPress and I try to filter the donations by form name, it doesn’t work. It just says “No items found”. If I filter the donations by just the Start Date and the End Date, it works fine. It’s only when I try to filter Form name, it doesn’t work.

Is there anything I have to do to make the view by Form filter work or is this a bug in the plugin?

Multi-Level Donation Button Amount Not Changing

Hello,

In Internet Explorer, the give sponsorship buttons do not change value when selected. For instance, when somebody clicks on the “half-table” sponsorship level, it is still saying $100 in the donation total box at the bottom and the amount under the donation form title.

It works fine in some versions but isn’t working in other versions. Anybody have any solutions?

Please advise how to align shortcodes in center of the page.?
I added this below code in wordpress

but it’s align only => “DONATION TITLE + DROPDOWN MENU & DONATION NOW BUTTON”
but it’s not align => “CURRENCY ROW / AMOUNT ENTERING ROW” is now align at left side corner of the page. So, kindly help to advise how to align “CURRENCY ROW” in center of the page.

Failed Transactions and no Cause name on Notification

I have has Give installed on my site for a while now. About 3 weeks ago, after updating, we get 50% failed transactions out of all the donations. The confusing part is that ther transaction gets processed through PayPal with no problems, but then the donor gets a receipt saying their transaction failed. I can not figure out what is causing this, but it’s becoming a big problem, since we are a non profit. The other problem is when we receive the notification that a donation was made. It used to say the name of the Cause, followed buy the donation amount written out. Now it only shows the donation amount, which is useless, since below that field the donation amount is shown using numbers and currency symbol. Please help us rectify these things as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for a quick reply
