Conflict with popup maker and another plugin

Hi, I’m still building the website on localhost, but I have this problem-
I’ve installed the ‘responsive lightbox & gallery’ plugin and it worked just fine.
I’ve created some galleries, set the styling and it worked fine.
All until I’ve installed your plugin ‘popup maker’.
Ever since the lightbox doesn’t work, when clicking upon an image in the gallery it takes some time to load and then I get a popup with gibberish on it, instead of the enlarged image.

I’ve disabled the ‘popup maker’ plugin and also deleted it.
didn’t help.
Tried to delete the responsive lightbox & gallery plugin and install it again.
didn’t help, the problem remains.

Any ideas?

dashboard does not show correct font

When using the custom fonts, I can see on website the fonts shows up fine.
However, the site’s view source and dashboard when editing the page shows writing as gibberish for users who has English lang set as default.

Questions:

1: How does view source display correct/proper fonts (using sv)
2: How would I be able to fix the dashboard, such that, user who has dashboard set to english can see swedish characters and not gibberish, and.
3: Have the ability for team members to create pages content in Swedish

Does not support utf-8 unicode :(

Greetings,

We are also experiencing issues with iPhone users not being able to download PDF files.

When iPhone users tap any WP Download Manager link on our website to download a PDF… they get “gibberish” or “garbage” text. (What they’re seeing is the raw PDF file, just as if it were opened in a text editor). These same files can be downloaded by Android devices with no problem, and the iPhone users can download PDF files from other places on the Internet with no problem. So why is WP Download Manager doing this to iPhone users who browse the web using Safari?

After reading the forum topic by @judylmohr regarding this exact same problem, we tried disabling “Resumable Downloads” and “Output Buffering” from Settings, as suggested by @savvasha but it did not alleviate the problem.

The only workaround to keep us from getting complaints by iPhone users is to post DIRECT LINKS to our PDF files for everybody, which circumvents WP Download Manager and defeats the purpose of using the plugin. Help.

Gibberish in Header

Has anyone seen this before? I’ve tried restoring from backup and nothing seems to work.

When I started looking at it, the wp-admin/index.php file had been replaced with a file that just said wpspw.info in it. I put the original file back and it happened immediately again. I replaced it again and marked it as read-only. Then, I decided to just roll back the site to a couple of days ago (and database) and the gibberish appeared. I rolled back 2 weeks (to a version I know was clean) and same thing. We’re hosting on a Windows server. Nothing in the logs. I deleted the site in IIS, recreated it. Same problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

RTL not working on export

hello

When I export to CSV a table that contains RTL characters, the outcome (checked in excel) is gibberish! All numbers and English characters are OK.

Can you please fix and add RTL support for the export function? Millions are using RTL

Names turning into gibberish

In recent months people who sign up on my MailChimp list via what’s shown on my list as “API-Generic” get their names (both first and last) turned into gibberish (eg. 58f8d42e2c04d instead of Dave) It’s doesn’t happen 100 percent of the time but nearly so since April of this year. This doesn’t happen when people use “Hosted Signup Form”

Unfortunately my web designer is out of commission so I have to figure this out myself. I’ve chatted with MailChimp and they say it’s not on their end.

Please help or advise.

wordpress showing gibberish and can’t get into the backend

A few months ago I uploaded and displayed an image on my front page. It was displayed correctly, but the next time I went to the site, I got gibberish on top and the back-end wasn’t available at all. Any help will be appreciated.

Facebook share creates gibberish in the description box

Yesterday, all was working fine, but today, when i try to share a new blog post using the share buttons (to Facebook) it comes up with weird characters and numbers in the description box.
I have tried everything i know how to do, but can’t find a solution. I’ve emptied caches, logged out, deactivated and even removed the social sharing plugins, tried new ones–among other things.
