Problems getting started

I’m excited to see how this works, but so far

I installed the plugin
went through the google api process to get a ClientID
Added the ClientId to the Settings & Saved them
created a new post
scrolled down to the import section
pasted in a link
got these errors: “general error. Done with notices.”

We recently purchased a couple of months subscription to hostgator. I am trying to get started on customizing our new website, and I am pulling a blank. the use interface is NOT intuitive.
Is there a good CURRENT video of how to get started making a site on wordpress through hostgator?
Not something generic, but something current and specific.
Are there any good CURRENT articles on how to use wordpress on hostgator to build a website??

Woocomerce devlopment getting started

Hey

I followed the instruction for getting started with woocomerce development:

When I run pnpm env:start, I get an error:
Error while running docker-compose command.
……

Warning: The ‘woocommerce’ plugin could not be found.
Error: No plugins activated.
?ELIFECYCLE? Command failed with exit code 1.

I can access the launched wordpress site, but no woocomerce plugin in it.

What the problem ? how can I fix it ?

Plugin Conflict

I tried to create a gallery with the flying car object as a sample, I can see the car in the preview (eyeball) for the gallery in the plugin UI, but when I paste the shortcode into a page, nothing appears. But I noticed all of my other tools that use charts.js via CFF plugin (calculated fields forms) were broken. So by deactivating the threepress plugin my calculated fields all re-appeared. I suspect there is some kind of js conflict going on between CFF and Threepress. But when I deactivated the CFF plugin, I cannot get the Threepress gallery shortcode to render anything after several attempts. I wonder if there is any further guidance you could offer? I will try this also on another website (where I will also deactivate the CFF I am running there also). I’m keen to get this working as I’d like to start scripting some parametrically-editable js polyhedra, but I can’t even get the canvas or the sample object to render yet :/ Thanks in advance. Andy

My Posts page is blank

I’ve installed Frontier Posts and Frontier Buttons on my WordPress site. I’ve put the “my-posts” page in the menu, and logged in with a fake editor account. The My Posts page loads, but there’s nothing on it. Should there be a “new post” or similar button to add new posts? I added a post by my fake editor in the backend and I still don’t see anything except the title “My Posts” on the front-end page. I’ve also looked for some straightforward “this is how you set up this plugin” instructions and haven’t found much. Any help would be appreciated.

Front Page in customizer and published view not the same

Hi. I have been trying to edit my website and have been unable to find a fix to this issue. My published homepage won’t change no matter what I do to edit it.

I have cleared caches on WP, hostinger, and my browser. I have disable, deactivate, and cleared plug-ins.

I even tried to restore a back-up for my website in case it was something that I did in my settings.

Nothing seems to be working. Other pages like serenovawellness.com/about seem to be updating, but I have no idea what to do with the home page.

I made a new static page and set it to home, but that didn’t help either. I can’t even find where this page is getting it’s information from.

My editor screen for the home or about pages seem correct with what I’ve been trying to do, but the published page in question won’t change.
