Hello,

Currently, Im fixing a e-commerce site, so customers can checkout without registration. I have changed “User must register to checkout” settings to No, but customer still can’t checkout because those form fields doesn’t show up for customers to fill in their shipping details.

I am not selling any downloadable items so I would like to remove the link to “Your Downloads” that is shown when I login to my Account on WP eCommerce. It currently looks like this once I login.

Purchase History|Your Details|Your Downloads | Saved Credit Card, Bank or Shipping Information

How can I remove that one link option?

But recently I’m having bad experience with my recent purchase of the gold cart.

Urgent WP eCommerce Support Issues

Hello,

I’m writing, in urgency. The GetShopped support forums have been down for the last day or two.

With WP eCommerce commonly touted as the most popular and functional shopping cart plugin for WordPress, getting it to even work minimally has been just such a nightmarish experience. The Premium Support doesn’t seem to give me straight answers, won’t usually get back to me on-time ( sometimes ignoring an issue I’ve brought up ), and I feel like I’ve been mislead. It’s as if they cover up any sort of negativity in regards to their plugin ( ie. when searching information about WP eCommerce, it’s all positive stuff but, if you tediously dig deeper and around obstacles, you find so many other complaints, buried away, similar to mine ).

I’m having some really bad issues with our site, after it had just barely started to work okay for a bit, and am unable to process any orders now ( with the shopping cart page just re-loading upon clicking ”Purchase” ).

If there is any way you can help, in any way, whether it is pointing me in the direction of someone else who can fix it, sending me the GetShopped HQ direct contact info, or passing me along to someone else, it would be greatly appreciated.

Product upload issues

I’m trying to help a friend with an issue: when uploading a new product to the store (e-Commerce Version 3.8.9.5) the product will load in sidebar and display only the title instead of being added to the products area.

For reference: https://www.sassygems.com/?page_id=29 is the products page, but when navigating into a specific category such as https://www.sassygems.com/?wpsc_product_category=custom-jewelry, the issue begins.
If I add add one of these sub-categories to the menu, it loads correctly, but makes the sub-category menu disappear.

Any suggestions?

I’m using Version 3.8.9.3 of wp e-commerce and 3.4.2 wordpress. I have used this plugin multiple times with no issues and i always re-skin it via css. I have never had this issue.

My transaction results and your account pages that the plugin creates work fine! It’s only the checkout page that isn’t loading.

I have tried disabling plugins and resetting my permalink structure and nothing ever fixes it. The page is indeed there. ScreenShot showing the page does exist!

Can WP-Cumulus be used with product tags instead of blog tags?

I’ve installed the WP-Cumulus plugin and it seems to be working okay on my site. I was wondering if there’s a way to make it post tags from my wordpress store rather than the tags from blog posts? I’d rather the store be more of the focus of the site and the blog posts be more background info. How can I change where the cloud pulls the tags from? Here’s my site:

WP e-commerce plugin and registration

I am using the WP E-Commerce plugin (aka getshopped.org). When someone makes a purchase, they are required to setup an account and this redirects them to the standard WordPress registration page, which is really confusing to users. Is there a tool or tutorial on how to improve that process to be more seamless with the site?

Newsletter Pro w. WP e-Commerce

Hi.

I’m very satisfied with using Satollo.net’s Newsletter Pro plugin for my mailing lists. And I’m using WP e-Commerce for my shop…

So I’m thinking: let’s combine the two.

What I want to do isn’t all that complicated. I’ve added a custom form field to my check out page (https://tambourhinoceros.net/home/shop) with a checkbox asking the customer to subscribe to the newsletter.

I would like to automatically add the email addresses who subscribe via the shop to the Newsletter Pro database of subscribers.

Any ideas?
