Genesis or Featherlight issues?

Hello,
just a question because Genesis is not listed in the tested themes:
Are there known any issues in the use of Genesis Framework and Real Media Library?
Or in using the Real Media Library and the Featherlight (Lightbox) Plugin?
My Problem: I tried to load some of the gallery images into the WP Media Archive, and after 3 or 4 images the upload was down, the Media Archive did not load any more.
It’s a multisite installation – and I think its a question of the server performance.

Changes not Showing Up on Live Site. I’ve tried what forums have suggested

Let me start by saying I’m a layman here. I’ve been updating our site manually for years with no problem until this last round. (We are self hosting.) We are using a Studio Press theme called Altitude within the Genesis framework. I have spent hours updating the content within the theme customization UX within WordPress and have published. None of those changes are showing in the live site. The weird thing is that I added pages in the standard WP “page add” path and they made it to the live site. So I don’t think this is a cache issue. That being said, I’ve cleared my cache, tried multiple browsers with cleared cache, and still can’t see the content updated through the theme template…though I can see the added pages. I also tried what some of these forums have suggested about checking the WP config file (which I’m scared to even touch given my ineptitude in this space.).

The theme content just seems to be totally disconnected from the live site now.

BTW…I was using WP Staging Pro to do all the changes and had the same problem with “preview” in the Staging environment. So I pushed the changes to production site to see if it was a staging issue, but low and behold, same problem (probably shouldn’t have done that, I realize.) I’ve spent hours and could really use some help!

Result Page not working with Genesis framework

Hi,
Thanks a lof for this great idea!

My problem is that I want to use it with the Genesis framework and the result page is not working (it shows up like a regular post with plain text and “read more” at the end).
I saw a thread here about that which was posted about 3 years ago, I guess it was the same problem. Is there any solution for this? That would be awesome.

Can’t use Yoast on home page using ‘Altitude Pro’ theme

Hi folks,
I am using Genesis parent theme along with Altitude Pro child theme (https://my.studiopress.com/themes/altitude/). I have Yoast installed, yet I can’t find a way to get the Yoast settings appearing in the WP Dashboard for editing the home page.

Using this theme, the home page consists of customisable widgets, ideal for viewing on smartphones. However, the home page is neither a Post or a Page, which seems to prevent Yoast from displaying its various settings. The home page can be edited in “Appearance > Customise”

Does anyone know how to get around this problem pls?

Products not showing on Genesis Framework after Woocommerce update

Hi,
I always update first on my local site before updating my live site incase of issues and glad I did that this time. When I upgraded to the latest Woocommerce (V.3.4.4) the images of the products stopped showing up on their page. I see the reply comment and such but nothing with images. I tried deactivating all the plugins except Woocommerce but no success. I tried rolling back to a previous version still no luck. The only thing that solves it is when I activate a different theme (Storefront, Twenty fifteen…) But as soon as I turn on the Genesis Framework they disappear. Doesn’t matter if I have the child theme on or off same result. Please help as I have many plugins out of date on my clients live site and I don’t want to work on the live site until this issue is fixed. I’ve been getting notification of several brute force hack attempts on the site and I don’t want to leave it more vulnerable with outdated plugins.

Dummy text is aligned right and getting cut off in the sidebar widget

I recently started using the Genesis framework, and ever since then, I’ve noticed that my Hustle widget is not displaying properly. The text in the dialog boxes appears to be aligned right, but is being cut off so only the first few letters are displaying. I did see a support thread on a similar issue, but besides the display problems, my widget does appear to be functioning properly as far as I can see. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I use mailchimp for my email service, if that makes a difference.

View and upload lead to the same dead end

This plugin is a wonderful idea!

On my site I can’t view a gallery or upload an image: I am sent to the same dead end (a page with a pic and below a “Read More” button (wich lead to the same url)).

I deactivated all plugins except BuddyPress and MediaPress and the problem is still here.

Any idea?
