I’ve been using profile builder recently and I noticed that in the advanced settings under fields, you can activate: automatically generate passwords for users; the problem, however, is that the email arrives telling the user to use the password he has entered, since he has not entered it, it is unknown to him.

Can clients create an account without entering password at first?

Hi, this is a great plugin however I need to generate a password on the form for subscribers or they should be able to register without creating a password which will be created by WordPress automatically. In my case, I don’t need my clients to log in to the website & I only need them to add their required details and that’s all.

Is this possible to achieve with your form?

Unable to add New User due to password issue

When trying to Add New User in WP, the password field, instead of showing the password, is showing dots. Clicking the unhide button does nothing. Click on Generate Password button, it does nothing and still showing dots.

When I check the Debug console on the browser, it shows:

Generate Password & course ‘details’ not working with new PIE version

When editing a user, I can no longer ‘Generate Password’ or see ‘(details)’ of a Learndash course they are working on.

If I deactivate PIE it works again.
NOTE: When I click ‘Generate Password’ it does nothing.
When I click ‘(details)’ next to the course, it goes to the top of the page.

Please help,

I love PIE and want to use it but I also need to be able to use these other functions. I realise I can just deactivate it each time I need to use these functions but what a pain! Also, someone may be trying to login in with an Invitation Code while deactivated and it won’t work.

Generate Password not working since updating to WordPress 5.5

Hi there,

I’ve updated to WordPress 5.5 and the “generate password” button within a user’s backend page is not functioning. I have contacted my theme and they have directed me to contact WordPress. If it helps, I am using the MemberPress plugin.

Any recommendations you have are greatly appreciated.

Since installing WordPress 5.5 this morning I’ve found a couple of features are not working. These are:

1. The Quick Edit for posts or comments does not load.

2. The Generate Password does not load in User Profiles.

How can I fix these?

Generate Password option under wp-admin/user-edit.php is not working in my WordPress website. Two days back i changes password of one user’s profile and it was working fine. I have neither made any changes in website’s code nor updated any plugin.

Someone please let me know how do i fix this bug?

Plugin Conflicts with Generate Password

I am unable to use the stock WordPress “Generate Password” button for users when they forget their information. I cannot interact with user logins at all. I have to manually disable the WP Support Plus plugin. Currently running WP 4.9.6. Any assistance is appreciated.

Username field set to E-mail Address | Password generated

Is it possible to accomplish the followings using your plugin? I couldn’t find a solution so far.
1 – On the Register form I should set the Username field to automatically take its value from the E-mail Address field. (the Username field will be hidden)
2 – The Password and Confirm Password fields will also be hidden. The password must be automatically generated.
