After installing the plugin, i get this message on top of the galleries page (admin)
Thumbnail Generation Alert!
There is a problem generating thumbnails for your gallery. Please check that your hosting provider has the GD Image Library extension installed and enabled.
If thumbnails cannot be generated, then full-sized, uncropped images will be used instead. This will result in slow page load times, and thumbnails that do not look correct.
I have already contacted my hosting company and asked them to check it. The said that the GD Image Library extension is 100% installed and enabled.
Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
Thanks,
Best regards

However, this is on WP Engine, where I have multiple other sites using FooGallery + Albums with the same set of plugins and the same custom base theme with no errors. WP Engine support says GD Image Library is never installed on their servers – so why are the other sites working fine, no FooGallery issues? And how do I fix this one?

I’m running on Avada theme. My server (a dedicated box on A2 hosting) indeed has the extension running*. Tech support says all looks good on their end – which makes sense.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins except Foo. I’ve tried disabling theme to default. Still same error.
*The thing is, I’m running Foo Gallery w/ Avada theme on this very server on at least 6 other sites (maybe more??) It’s my default / go-to plugin that I use for image galleries (and I recommend it all the time)
Also, everything was working great until something in the last month or so (I don’t recall exactly when the issue came up, but it’s been in the last 6-8 weeks. This site worked great until now, and now, the thumbnails are indeed getting all jacked up and not displaying properly.
There’s just something goofy with this one site. I’ve followed the other 2 posts but nothing there sheds light on my side.
I’ve exhausted all options. Thoughts?

I’ve confirmed with my host that GD Image Library is installed and active, and it even shows up in Foogallery’s system info:
PHP version : 5.6.25
PHP GD Loaded : 2
I’m assuming this is unrelated, but just in case, I’m also getting:
Notice Undefined offset: 3 in .../plugins/foogallery/includes/admin/class-menu.php on line 85
I’m going to start a separate topic for the latter, since it seems to be a separate issue.
]]>E_No_Image_Library_Exception thrown
The site does not support the GD Image library. Please ask your hosting provider to enable it.
I haven′t done anything besides the automatic updates on wordpress page and plugins.
Thank you in advance
