This app is garbage! It turns off after a week or so and you have to re-activate it. It doesn’t stay on long enough to get any real tracking.

Doesn’t allow me to add USPS without upgrading.

I only want to track via USPS, but it says custom shipping options are for premium, why isn’t that option just greyed out like the PayPal Tracking option is in the Settings? Why allow someone to think they had that availability to do something and be told NO once tried? I added USPS and then went to integrations and they are all greyed out like the Shipping Carriers option should have been. I don’t know how this has decent ratings at all. I would not recommend this plugin to anyone.

WordFence shows garbage text

Hi. I just migrated a site to its new server. Went to edit a page and couldn’t save it – 403 error. Checked WordFence (free) and all pages are displaying garbage looking text like some encoding or something is wrong. I wanted to put it back in learning mode but unable to without being able to read. Many labels are readable but not any text. Deactivated WF and was able to edit site and save again. Checked dev site, WF is exactly the same there! Different server, different host.

Anyone know what to do. The migration popped up an error about text encoding and this may be related. I selected the default offering (utf-8 I think) so maybe that was wrong. All else seems fine though. I do not know where to even change that setting!

EDIT – Sorry this seems to be a problem only in Chrome browser. In Safari and Firefox all is good!

It’s time to review the usefulness of Polyfill and others in Core.

Getting Garbage when Opening Image files after optimization

Yet another issue with this plugin(I don’t have any other plugins that deal with images).

When I open any image that has been optimized by EWWWIO, all I get is garbage like this:

Since it doesn’t save backups, it cannot restore the old images(which were WebP). I’m almost deleting this thing from my WordPress installation and reuploading everything as JPEGs and PNGs. If this bug is related to WebP itself, I’m dropping it.

Unfortunately, this plugin leaves A LOT OF garbage records in your WordPress database even after you uninstall it. Given that most of the people who use this plugin are not very tech-savvy, it raises a lot of concerns as they won’t be able to delete those tables themselves. I would NOT suggest using this plugin – it’s just messy.

Our account has 10-12 domains connected. The last email sent out, was Jan 19th, and from what we can see had no issues. Today we randomly are told that not just one, but ALL OF THEM are disabled, and to fill out some weak form that tells you they dont care about support and that their “Wait Times” are longer due to blah, blah, blah. Just say you don’t care, don’t mask or hide it behind some BS excuse. Who sends an error and does not include the problem? Way to go FULL GOOGLE on us. Get your shiz together and stop wasting people’s time. If you want people to be able to do something about it, how about some report data? How about you tell us who and which emails are marking it as spam, or maybe toss us a bone to let us know which of the MANY DOMAINS ARE LOADED UP INTO AN ACCOUNT? Man, it’s like braindead are amongst the dev staff. No worries we will wait all weekend for no fix or solution. Why sell or offer an unsupported product?
