]]>I have a theme that shows images (in home, archive, category…) only from gallery tab
(so i can’t re-use an image to other posts). As you know an image can only get attached to 1 post. I found a plugin that you can attach an image to more posts, but it doesn’t work for this theme.
Does anybody know how to change the code so to use Featured images instead?
thanks
]]>I have moved my website to another host. Everything seems fine except when I want to import a new image :
The pop-up opens fine and I can import the image. But when I want to take a look at the library or galleries tabs, I get an error message saying that the pages cannot be found on the server. In fact those links are pointing to : https://wp-admin/media-upload.php… Instead of pointing to : https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-media-upload.php…
Any idea were I can correct this ?
Thank you for your help on this

Many it seem have been having difficulty seeing the Gallery tab after adding an image to a post and only seeing the ‘From Computer, From URL, Media Library’ tabs.
My way around this was by first creating a title for my post then saving as a draft. After it has saved and a permalink appears for your post goto ‘add an image’. Select the images and upload them. Then click on ‘Save All Changes’, then the gallery tab should appear with the images you have uploaded.
It seems that a post needs a permalink before it can have items added to the gallery.
This is just my workaround at the moment but you still may have difficulties if you have plugins that are causing the trouble instead, which my advice would be to disable all your plugins, retry this method and reactivate your plugins one by one to find the offender.
Best Regards,
Tim
]]>Images are being correctly uploaded within posts. If a single image has been inserted & uploaded from within a post, the “Gallery” tab should be visible, with a number reflecting the number of ‘local’ images next to it.
This is not happening.
And a related item seems that the media Library cannot display the particular photo as being linked to that page (or any other)… “Attached to” is blank.
Any ideas?
]]>She doesn’t mention that she’s using a plugin and writes about this as if it’s a standard feature in WordPress, yet my hopefully latest edition (I upgraded it on Friday) doesn’t show this tab.
Any ideas?
