I need gallery with image descriptions loaded from the posts and pages created in wordpress content.

Right now I’m making this galleries manually, but I have plans to extend amount of the posts and gallery items in use and manual configuration will be really hard.

Some solution will be really helpful.

I created a gallery group, under which I also created a gallery. After enabling the description for both gallery group and gallery to show, I can see that the description for the gallery group does show up. However, the description for the gallery does not show at all and it does not save/

Could you please check whether there is a bug?

Lightbox Text cutting off at bottom

When I click a thumbnail to open lightbox, my text at the bottom (currently pulling the Title text) is being cut off. It requires scrolling to see. I have tried to adjust CSS to make more room at the bottom for multiple lines of text, but I cannot get it to work. I think the image in the lightbox is being automatically resized to fit the screen regardless of how many lines of text I have at the bottom. Is there a way for me to adjust this so that all my text at the bottom shows without scrolling?

I am trying to use this plugin to manage a gallery group of artists. I’d like to insert a description on each artist page that includes bio info and links to their social media and websites. I typed the text into the gallery description and I can see it but it has no paragraph formatting and everything is running together. Tried html but no luck. Is there a way to format this better and a way to include links to social media and websites for the artist?

Short of modifying the source plug-in is there a way to allow HTML tags in the description portion of the gallery? While it saves the tags properly the page itself blows up with a 500 error.

Add Gallery Description Above Thumbnails

I updated to the newest version of NGGallery from a much older version today, and somewhere along the way, I lost the gallery description that had been above each set of thumbnails. I think on the previous version, I stuck the following in to the gallery.PHP:

description ?>

However, now I’m not sure where it ought to go, the PHP’s file setup is quite different than on the old version.
