I am not using any conversion method after uploading and thought that the WebP format was natively supported in WordPress but it seems it’s not there yet… Is there any chance for thumbnail support for the WebP format in the near future?
]]>.page-id-46151 .wp-block-gallery, .blocks-gallery-grid {

}
Grateful for any advice.
]]>I added this code which fixed the issue of the double enlarged image previews however my screen is not scrollable anylonger – so I have removed the code.
.jp-carousel-overlay

visibility: hidden;
opacity:0;}
I contacted WordPress assistance who hae said it is a bug with the block and I needed to contact the plugin creator to find a work around.
PLEASE HELP
I hope I hit the correct forum here.
After updating to WP 6.1, the gallery block does not render correctly in the front end anymore.
Instead of e.g. 3 columns the images are showing one per row with no margin and left-oriented, see example.
Everything looks fine in the Block Editor, only in the front end galleries are not displayed correctly.
I checked the CSS output but could not find anything suspicious.
There are no caching tools involved. Applies to galleries in old posts as well as newly created ones.
has anyone stumbled upon this and has a fix?
Thanks for looking into this,
best regards from Germany,
Rob

And sometimes, there are extra broken images. There are only two images in the gallery in the following screenshot, but four are there with two broken ones.

And sometimes, this happens.

Side note: I can’t get the image block on this thing to work with Google Photos URLs. I had to make them links. Probably because their URLs don’t go to the actual image. /shrug
Edit: The Gallery block seems to always be broken when using the app.
]]>For example, these newer posts the gallery blocks are working correctly: https://kathleenscravings.com/cranberry-jalapeno-dip/

But these are a few examples where the gallery block is not working and the images are stacked vertically on top of each other:

]]>This must have coincided with an automatic WordPress core update, because it was noticed one day and not directly tied to happening after an update. It happened some time in October or early November.
It doesn’t seem to be an issue on the site if using other themes, just Storefront.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins and commenting out all custom CSS, but it doesn’t fix any of the Gallery Blocks. They’re still one column, left-justified.
I’ve tried adding a new Gallery Block, but get the same result, no matter what I make the settings in terms of number of columns, alignment, etc.
Currently updated to the latest Storefront theme and WordPress versions.
WordPress: 6.1.1
Storefront: 4.2.0
I am using the basic Gutenberg Gallery function on several websites, however, om one website it doesn’t show more than one column under no circumstances anymore. I have other websites.
When I enable to masonry gallery, the chosen amount of columns are shown, but at soon as I switch it off, it is back to one column, which has the same with as if there were fice columns…
I created a testpage on that particular website and a completely new gallery: https://historiskan.se/testsida/ (Password: test)
This gallery is supposed to have 5 columns, hovewer, as you see, only one column is shown.
Things I have tried whith no success:
– remove all custom CSS
– deactivate all plugins
– create a completely new gallery
– change all the settings
– use exactly the same settinngs as on other pages with the same setup (WordPress version, hosting solution, theme….)
I don’t know what else to try. There are not so many options in this very basic block either. Anyone has a suggestion?
]]>This is happening on both websites I’m using the Gallery Block on and worked fine before.
I’m using Beaver Theme and cleared all cache several times.
