G-Lock Double Opt In Manager on Godaddy Linux Hosting

I cannot get the G-Lock Double Opt In Manager to work on my Godaddy Linux Hosted WordPress site. I’m using a Godaddy SMTP e-mail account, and I’ve verified that my SMTP settings are correct from a differnet mail client. But it simply won’t work. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Your subscribe form seems to miss some kind of closing tag or has an other coding error. Because if it is not the last widget in the sidebar then the next two widgets are displayed outside to the right of the sidebar.

I′m using Fusion theme and your widget is the only one with this kind of behaviour. The problem occurs in IE7, not in firefox.

Another question: Why does it need so long until the e-mail form is displayed? Other elements in your widget are visible directly and the form field(s) seems to be only visible after the last elements on page loaded!?

SMTP problems with G-Lock plugin

I have successfully got SMTP mail working using the Swift SMTP plugin.

However, I have setup a mailing list system using G-Lock Double Opt-in plugin, and although the direct send mailing works okay, it uses its own SMTP settings (i.e. separate from the Swift SMTP, and I cannot get the G-Lock SMTP mailing to work. Not for gmail, my ISP’s SMTP, or my webhosts SMTP.

Has anyone else got the SMTP working with this G-Lock plugin? I’d really like to get it to work so that the subscription confirmations don’t get considered as SPAM, which seems to happen when doing a direct send.

I don’t understand why exactly the same SMTP settings would work for the Swift SMTP plugin, but not for the G-Lock plugin?

G-Lock Double Opt-in Manager – Support for greek fields

Hi! I am using G-Lock Double Opt-in Manager. It is an amazing plugin but it doesn’t accept greek characters in the input fields. Is there any way I can interfere with its php code and make it possible to accept greek input as well as greek field names?

A couple of questions about this plugin – can anyone help?

When I change/update the options, I get a warning message at the top of the screen:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /.../wp-content/plugins/g-lock-double-opt-in-manager/glsft-optin.php on line 1728

Also: what does the Subscribe button do on the form? Mine seems to just take me back to my home page, and no-one actually gets subscribed. Maybe it’s related to the warning message?
