Fuzzy Search or the Plugin itself does not work

Hello,

This is the search page https://pastebin.com/sU6ewBRn. I have a normal WordPress Search input field in the header. When enetering an keyword properly spelled and press enter (or the search icon) I get redirected to the default WordPress search page (no modifications) with results matching the search term.

When Misspelling the search word y removing an duplicated letter it does not work. So, either the fuxxy search does not work or the plugin does not work for me.

I could use some assitsannce as soon as possible.

Partial Search Term

Is it possible to configure relevanssi to match a certain part of the search term?
For example, if a user searches for the term “running” to return all results that match “run”. I understand relevanssi does partial matching when the search term matches the beginning or the end of the result, but I need the opposite for the result to match a part of the search term.

Hi, 1st of all: thank you for this awesome plugin!

I’m trying to achieve a fuzzy search where I can type something like “huertas” and it must finde “huerta” without the S at the end.

I’ve tried adding SOUNDEX to the query inside function wp_es_custom_query but it didn’t work.

Any ideas?

Image quality degrading on Live Site but fine in builder and preview

I’m using the Elementor Page Builder Image Widget for my images on my page (and across the site) The images are appearing in the page builder and it’s preview fine – great quality. But when i save and view the full site in another window / on another browser the quality degrades – The same issue seems to be occurring on every page asides the home page.

Is there a fix for this?

The images I am currently using are fairly large (We will be rescaling these at a later time for page loadtimes/performance) but I wouldn’t have thought that would have caused this? Has anyone got any ideas?

* Edit – Seems to only happen on images when in the Full Width scale – However images are more that 2000px wide so I wouldn’t have thought decreased quality would have been an issue here?

Image Quality

I have a high quality image file for the logo but no matter what I try for the plugin, it shows it all fuzzy and not sharp. My logo appears sharp every where else so I don’t know why this plugin can’t handle it. Any advice?

Gallery thumbnails looks fuzzy

I’ve used the Gallery function of the plugin and for some reason the thumbnails looks very fussy. If I click on the thumbnail the larger image looks great. It’s just the thumbnail that looks really bad. Any advice on how to fix this?

Fuzzy images and non-working lightbox plugins

I am unsure if this is related to the upgrade to 4.4, but I have only recently noticed the issues. On my last few posts, either all, or only some of the images in the post appear fuzzy and pixelated on a retina screen. I have tried replacing the image, regenerating thumbs, replacing the image with one with a different image ratio, switching themes, deleting and deactivating plugins, and even using a different image editor to compress the jpgs before upload, but no lock at all.

On this page https://sjp.id.au/adapted-lenses/lumax-c-mount-lens/ the pink third image down is pixelatred on retina screens while the others appear fine. I have replaced the image a few times but it is the same. On this page https://sjp.id.au/adapted-lenses/bokeh-lens/ they are all fuzzy. I have tried different image sizes, but nothing has worked.

The othger issue is that my lightbox plugin – foobox – has simply stopped working around the same time. I have even tried different lightbox plugins but they behave in the same way. Older posts are fine, but newer posts the images seem broken.

I have tried it in different browsers, but the lightbox plugins continue to fail.

I have tried reinstalling 4.4, but no change in behaviour for either problem.

It is very frustrating, as I seem to have exhausted all possibilities at my disposal.

I’m evaluating your promising looking plugin for my work (and for some clients). Unfortunately, the images come out really fuzzy (see here). I just want to ensure this is a solvable issue before purchase.
