hi, I am a newbie with wordpress self host. I just upgrade my wordpress from 4.5.1 to 4.5.2 and I using theme virtue. then my site can not open the messege eror display is:

Hi Im Fairul,

I been working for this company about 1 year now and this is the 2nd time that this happen to our website, first time it was error 404 and i seek help from here to recover.

Currently our website has been affected and I really don’t know what to do.. Its showing error 500

Could anyone guide what should I do?

I wake up this morning with my website down, I have don′t “touch” anything in days, and I can’t acccess now. The site is https://emofor.com and the error message is:

Recovering site after move to root

I have seen a number of discussions on this topic, but none of the sol’ns will work for me. When I moved the site to the root I lost all formatting from the theme. I returned the site to folder used for build and I get what seems to be a common return for this problem:

Oh course, I am looking right at at the dir. and files said to be “not found.” No permissions changed, etc.

As I stated above, there seems to be any number of code-change fixes for this but none seem to work.My HTML code skills are strong, but my PHP/SQL knowledge is limited to the the books on my shelf.

Some seem to think that re-doing the site is the best way. If that is your opinion, please refrain from replying.

Widget appears to have broken site:function.require-once error

Can anyone help? I have installed this widget on the home page of the site as well as in the sidebar. While the homepage was misbehaving a bit last week, ie could only edit in text mode, the site is not not accessible at all. I’m getting this error:

Trouble logging in as admin (WP in XAMPP)

I’ve been trying to get my WordPress up and running and I finally got around to installing it, but if I attempt to log in, I get this error:

I’ve been looking across this forum and other places online and there have been problems that looked similar, but not exactly the same as mine I think. The answers to those problems aren’t helping matters for me. Does anybody have any kind of insight? The WP files have been fresh and recently downloaded.

I am a total newcomer to the world of WordPress and XAMPP and am a novice at this field trying to get a head start. Any kind of input is appreciated. Thank you!

i am having problem in my website www.umeshg.com.np which shows up an fatal error message as follows:

I tried to edit in my admin.php page, but my I could not get any ideas to resolve the problem. The line 30 states

require_once(dirname(dirname(__FILE__)) . ‘/wp-load.php’);

can anyone help me.

I have tried to login and got the following error as if some pages are missing, and so I looked in those directories and couldn’t find these files it refers to. i have no idea why they didnt install when i uploaded them to FTP. Is there a reason why these files need to be there. And if so can i retrieve them somehow? or work around this error somehow?
