I would like to have the page content full width of the page, but even if I load the blank template the content is limited. I have tried changing the width but nothing changes.
I would also like to change the background photos of the stock templates, but again I don’t see how to do this.
The address above is my staging site, so pardon the mess
Thanks for the suggestions

Is there a simple way to do this?
Many thanks!
]]>Hope everyone is doing well after Thanksgiving!
I am currently trying to put a full width background image on the home page, NOT part of the header or main navigation.
1. I do not know what dimensions are needed for a full width image OR what style.css code could be used to scale the image to be full width.
2. I need ALL pages in the site to support full width images/content (I do not have GP Premium so I cannot use its full width feature).
3. I need all content containers to be full width as well.
This would be tremendously helpful for me. Thanks in advance!
]]>I am trying to achieve a full-width footer content. Could someone help me with some CSS?
I tried this CSS but no luck at all:
#footer .container {
max-width: 100% !important;
}
[Moderator note: code fixed. Please wrap code in the backtick character or use the code button.]
Kindly take a look at my footer: www.xyzagerondio.com
I wanted to have something like this (Please see image link below)…

Thank you so much for whoever will help me.

]]>I would like my site to look like the screenshot used for the Twenty Thirteen theme. The theme itself doesn’t seem to have any way of making it look like the screenshot!
I’ve tried many different content block plug-ins but none seem to work.
I’m running Yith Maintenance Mode plug-in at the moment but the site is here.
I would like a static page with full width background colour content blocks with so 99% of the content is on the front page with links through to other pages/blog etc for more information.
I know a lot about CSS but very little about PHP.
Any help would be appreciated!

]]>We would like to have the content full width with no sidebars.
Based on one recommendation I installed the CSS plugin and added the code that was suggested would widen the content, that didn’t work and have since disabled the plugin.
Based on other findings, I’ve created the twentythirteen-child directory, and modified the style.css and created full-width.php files as recommended and uploaded them to the child theme directory, and nothing happens.
I suspect it’s because I lack the knowledge to modify the functions.php file to add to the child directory to – at least I think – connect all the dots, but I’m not even sure that’s what I’m doing wrong.
Any guidance would be very welcome. Thanks.
