I have a client who has been maintaining their site for several years now. One thing they have done is to create gallery pages with full background colors within the content. I know Gutenberg will allow you to put a background color in the various blocks. Is there a way to apply a background color to an entire page?

Hello – I’m hoping to create some full-width sections on a few pages of my site to call out certain information. I want to do this using divs instead of creating widgets, because all in all I’ll have about 25 unique sections, all with different content, across multiple pages (I don’t want to make a widget for each and every one). I’ve used Firebug to inspect the current theme setup and it seems that all the content on every page is contained within a “wrap” that is set to 1280px. That’s fine for the text, but I want to make the background color in these sections extend the full width of the page. Is this possible to do using CSS, to override the wrap settings? I’ve had success in doing this in the past by making widgets, but as I said I don’t want to make widgets for this. Thanks!

i’m currently working with beaver builder light version, and even using a full width page template and the full width setting in my beaver toolbox, i can’t make a full width colored background. is there a specific way to do it ?

Full Screen separator between content

Is there a way in Twenty Twelve theme to insert a separator in the content area – as it is here: https://themes.theemon.com/?theme=attorney-wp

Different content areas with different background colors. With other words – I want to separate the text in more text passages.

CSS help – full browser width background with defined width body

Greetings… hope I’m posting this in the correct place… please correct me if not. Couldn’t find a specific CSS WP forum.
I am seeking a little CSS help for defining a full browser width background that extends only to the top and bottom of the body div. The page display is limited to the center 960 pixels of the display window. So far, I can make one of these things work properly, but not both at the same time.

I’d also welcome a recommendation for a theme that I could build this on and/or create a child theme for.
