I am testing ‘BasePress’ on our staging site before moving it to the live site. It’s looking great so far, but the plugin is not displaying full page width.

Since a full width display is our preference, hopefully you can help remedy this situation. Perhaps some CSS or other added code?

Full Width Page

I’m redesigning our website and really love the overall layout for this theme. But I soon noticed that it was limited by each page not being centered or taking up the full page. After some research I discovered that if I went with the premium version it would allow me that “full width page” feature that I’m looking for.

However, now that I have the premium theme and applied the full width page template to each page…nothing has happened. It is still in this weird off center, 2/3s display. And it’s really bothering me and throwing off the whole site. It is most noticeable on desktop which is where I do all of the work for the site of course.

I will even take “centering” the section that is currently available as a resolution to this problem. Any suggestions please let me know. I tried “additional css” based on code that was suggested in another thread but that did not resolve my issue.

If you need any more info on this situation let me know. This is a problem that exists across all of my site pages.

No sidebar / full width page

Hi,

Is it possible for the feature requests templates to load with no sidebar?
I would prefer a full width (i.e. no sidebar) page.

I already have a full width post template: post-fullwidth.php

Would I simply need to copy (twice) and rename my full width template to:
archive-feature-requests.php and single-feature-request.php and place them in my child theme folder?

I am really liking the plugin. It is definitely the best feature request plugin out there. I look forward to a ‘premium’ version.

Full page width help

I’ve been searching over the past few days how to make the content of my website pages be the full width of the page. I have come across so many answers (google, you tube, and WordPress support) that I don’t know which one is right for me. I am trying to eliminate all of the space between the menu tab (for example: Home) and the actual text/content displayed across from the menu tab (- I was born and raised…). I would like to have the text/content be applied across the entire page; to be the full width of the page. Now it looks as if the text is on the right side of the page. Please advise me how to fix this. Thank you in advance.

I want the images on some pages to be the full page width. So I chose full width in at page builder in the images. But unfortunately the images still aren’t full page width. How can I fix this?

Pages not Full Page Width no matter what I do

No matter what I do, my pages are not full width. I have tried everything that I’ve read on the forum. Put the code into page.php and fullpage.php, made the page attribute full page width and still my pages are not full width. It looks like there is some invisible sidebar on the right. Hello!

I am navigating my company’s website, trying to bring some old pages up to date with new plugins, etc. – we’ve used a number of agencies in the past so our site is a bit hodge-podgey, but I’m working to fix that.

One thing I want to do is use the MP Stacks plug on a responsive, full-width page. But I’m having trouble designing a proper “full-width.php” file that actually works.

Here’s a page on our site that is full width, and looks great (though I’d like to replace this content with MP stacks…):

How do I add a new Page template?

I have Touchfolio theme installed and am using a tile plug in called “WP Tiles” you can see what it looks like by clicking the link at the end of this post.

What I’d like to do is keep the sidebar and extend the tiles to (responsively) fill the rest of the page – ie the blank space to the right of the tiles.

Would I need to make a new page template for this? And, if I do, how on earth do you do that?

How can I get a header image on other pages or, the slider image on other pages besides the blog? Also, is there a way to make the home page images full page sliders?
