how to show full_content posts on archive front page

Hi,
On my frontpage i would like to list the posts in full content format
(i made them with elementor)
but the chaplin theme only lets me show previews of the posts (which the actually don’t look like my elementor designed posts)

at least i couldn’t find where to switch the display method

is there a way to show full content posts on the front page?

Full content on search results instead of only titles

Hi. Thanks for this great plugin.
I’m using “Search & Filters” with “Pods”. I’m getting only pods titles on search results pages, (you can see here) and I want to display full pods content.
Better, I want to assign a pod template to the result page.
I can achieve this with pods archive, as you can see here.
Can you guide me on this?
What controls what is displayed on the search results page?

Hi,

I can’t change the search result to display the full post instead of just the excerpt. It only shows the excerpt and when I change it in the theme options customize to “content” or “no content” it doesn’t change anything.

In all my sites with Shopper the post would not open, it shows one paragraph and […] is not linkable.

Hello,

I created a page that only displays some posts according to their category, by creating a new template for this page. I would like that this page shows the full content of the posts. But I also would like that the page displaying all the posts shows only excerpts.

If I replace ? the content ? by ? the excerpt ? in the content.php file of my child theme, every post displays only the excerpt, even the single post. So I added ” is_singular() ? the_content() : the_excerpt(); ? and it worked for the single post but I don’t know how to apply a similar rule to my new page template…

Is it possible ? And in this case how to create a read more button for the excerpts?

Is it possible in the Affluent theme to show on the blog page the full articles, instead of only the excerpts? Changing this in the WordPress settings itself doesn’t seem to change anything.

Hey there,

it seems that the Affluent theme can only show excerpts on the blog page. But I want it to show full content. (example: https://www.bureaubeeldrijm.nl/blog/)

Ofcourse I know of the option in wordpress itself (settings->reading->For each article in a feed, show…) But changing this doesnt seem to do anything.

Is there way to change this? I hope someone can help, because I like the theme.

Goodmorning, I would like to import full articles. But in the feed (https://travel.blog.nl/feed) there are only titles and short descriptions. So my website will import the title and the short description but not the full article behond the url link. Is that possible at all?

Hi! Okay, I have been trying to figure this out for weeks but all posts I’ve read are about way more complicated stuff with the RSS feeds. So I apologize if this is somewhere in the 90,000 search results!

I simply want my RSS feed to show the full content of my posts and their pics when using a site like Feedly.

However, it and my feed page only show a short summary of text and only sometimes a picture (usually just my logo and not the pic??)

My “Reading” settings are set to full content.

Any ideas? I’m tearing my hair out over here.
