Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with UpdraftPlus backup settings and would really appreciate some assistance. I’ve set UpdraftPlus to store backups on Google Drive, and the integration seems to be correctly set up and authorized. However, the plugin is saving backups to both Google Drive and my FTP server.

Here’s a quick summary:

Google Drive is selected as the primary backup location in settings.
Google Drive account is connected and authorized without issues.
Despite this, backups are saved to both Google Drive and FTP, but I only want them on Google Drive.

I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Google Drive account, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this or know how to prevent UpdraftPlus from saving backups to FTP as well? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I changed my url from wp-admin. I can’t remember what I changed it to. Now I can’t login. Can I change it back to wp-admin via ftp?

MAC OS 9 Line Endings

After building a site locally and FTPing it to the target domain I discovered that a number of files in the includes directory and includes/admin directory were using MAC OS 9 format for line endings. Not a problem for editors but apparently FileZilla didn’t recognize them correctly and they ended up “incorrect” at the target location.

Everything works fine if you install it through WP of course and I only mention it here because it took a bit of time to figure out what the problem was and I’d not seen that line ending used recently. Not all of the files seemed to be impacted but I didn’t look at them all

PHP allocation

I installed a plug-in (Simple Calendar) that advises that I increase my PHP allocation (currently at 40MB). I am using Dreamhost. They advise I use FTP or SSH. How do I access SSH in my dashboard, since I see no hosting settings. Also, I am a newbie, so which (FTP or SSH) am I likely to do less damage as I tinker with settings?

Hello, Im getting this error log when backing up via ftp.
I did found two similar posts related to this issue, no useful info, any suggestions? Thank you
This what I got:
1. Manual FTP connection works, can connect and copy files.
2. Log shows that some directories are created once the connection is made. So it connects.
3. Passive switch it is on.
4. Another backup plugin (updraft) succesfully did daily uploads for quite a while (it was unnistalled)

WordPress FTP not in tune with WordPress online

Using FileZilla I can see all installed plugins/themes/etc. under wp-content/wp-content/plugins. Though on wordpress i receive the error “could not create directory” as soon as I am trying to install a plugin.

I am guessing the issue: The directory paths are sorted incorrectly but I do not know how to bring it back into an order so that I can use it properly. Can anybody help me and tell me how to make WordPress recognize my themes and plugins that are displayed in wp-content/wp-content again?

Delete main folder from FTP

Hi, I upgraded All-in-One WP Migration and Backup and an error occurred. The plugin was automatically uninstalled and then when I installed it it told me that the folder already existed.

I logged in via FTP to delete the folder but couldn’t, so I renamed it so the plugin would install again.

Now I want to delete the folder I renamed but I can’t, it tells me this error:
