My ISP only allows one (1) single concurrent FTP connection. This is causing problem with the upload of new plugins and updates from within WP.
Is there a setting somewhere where I can tell the FTP component within WP to only use one (1) connection while uploading n new stuff?
thanks

It seems that it thinks it successfully created the backup archive, but after I fixed only the file name length problem, it had no trouble uploading this job to the FTP.
]]>So I have been trying to go back through and update all our past sermons with a consistent naming convention but when I do that by removing the previous location of the mp3 and uploading a new one, it will put the new one as the file you can play and you can see it below the download files, but the old file is still referred to there. I like the idea of just having the icon with the text mp3 next to it, but all these other ones are showing. (There were issues during upload; which I have read about in other posts. Hence the 6 files, because the media uploader wasn’t showing anything as uploaded.)

Anyone know how to fix this? I was thinking to keep the date folder structure the same as the file (in this case 2016/03) I would just upload the file via ftp, but I am seeing that doesn’t show up in the media area. Just trying to figure this out because its going to be very tedious.
]]>Hi,
I’m searching for a solution for users that are registered to my website and want to upload big files using FTP and I need some advice.
Now users upload by using the front-end and the files go directly to my Amazon S3 bucket using a plugin. Each user see his own stuff only.
Possible solutions:
1. I create manually a FTP user + custom directory and give him the user/password. Also the user must see only a specific directory when using FTP.
2. There is a plugin that allow me to assign the uploaded files from a specific directory to an user? Or even to send them to Amazon S3?
Thank you!
]]>accessible via woocommerce
I am hoping there is a plugin or something that would allow grfx to access my ftp server and pull the files from the server, or from a defaultgrfx acessible directory that I can ftp upload to, and populate into woocommerce as follows:
products
within products, I always click on:
upload stock
and once in upload stock, there is no option to drag files from the ftp server, or some directory that could be a default where files are ftp’d to, and easily imported into woocommerce using grfx.
Perhaps something like these file accessibility features exist, and I would most appreciate your suggestions.
Great plugin, saves mucho time on having to make multiple resolutions, tagging, etc.!!
Thanks

]]>I have uploaded all my pictures in the many folders. Now when I try to attached pictures from specific folder to particular post, it works fine if there is no special character in the file like angelina jolie. However when i try to select folders whose name have special character like Luz-Elena-González (speical character in “a”), Adrianna-Léon (special character in “e”), such folders not getting selected via this plugin. Same is the case if i select file whose name has special characters. It may be the problem of coding UTF-8. But i have checked from my server end. It has UTF-8 as unicode. I am not able to figure out the problem. Anybody knowing the solution please help me.
