When I try to use the frontend editor, the page sits with a loading screen for days on end. Leaving me with only the backend or classic editor. Yes I am still able to move forward but it is extremely annoying and time consuming to switch between my preview tab and editing tab while building pages. Hoping I can find help here.

WPBakery Plugin not working

Hi all,
To be frank, I’m totally new here. Not sure if I can ask a plugin related question here. Anyways, here is the issue:
I’ve been assigned to modify a WP website that’s been developed by someone else a few years back. It’s built using WPBakery page builder. I was able to tweak the settings of the homepage using the WPBakery visual editor. Now, today, after I logged in to the dashboard and tried to edit a page, the WPBakery visual editor is no longer showing. I mean, not even the option to switch between classic editor and backend editor is there. Instead, all I can see is some random code which can only be interpreted by WPBakery, I guess. The website is intact, thankfully. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin. Didn’t help. Now, I can neither edit existing pages not can I create new pages using it. It’s like the plugin totally vanished (It’s still there in the toolbar, though). Has anyone gone through the same problem? It would be a huge help if someone could help. Thanks in advance.

Frontend Editor not working correctly

Hi. I’m using a theme called Uncode. It comes with a Frontend Editor. It has been working perfetly but when I tried to make an update today I noticed that the Frontend Editor button was missing, along with a few other editing buttons. There is still the option to edit in frontend Editor when I hover over the post and I get the other options to clone, edit, trash etc. When I use this option and make any changes to the page it loses the styling and is not working as it normally would. I also found it hard to change the feature image. I’m assuming I have updated a plugin or setting to create this issue, but have no clue how to overcome it?

WPBakery page builder won’t save changes in Frontend Editor

Hi, I’m having a new problem that the site hasn’t had before. The home page is made using WPBakery Page Builder. I can save changes using the Backend Editor, but I cannot save changes using the Frontend Editor. If I create a new page using the Page Builder, or if I delete all the elements on the home page, I can save changes using the Frontend Editor, so there is apparently something wrong with the home page. I’ve tried debugging and deactivating plugins, and everything is up to date. Thanks for any help.

Edit the Front-end Text Editor

I have a pretty weird issue with my text editor. First, my website is under development (in local) and is made with the Shapely free theme. Secondly, my website is for job hiring purpose (using the WP Job Manager plugin).

So on my website I have a page where people can create job offers (directly from the website, not going in the admin panel) and there’s a description field of course with a text editor and this text editor is the issue. This text editor doesnt changes when I modify the TinyMCE features in the Admin panel; even checking the box “modify front end text editor” doesnt change anything in the fornt end text editor.

Weird thing also I can see that TinyMCE is loaded on the front end editor through the source code of the page.

Hope you guys may help

code posting from backend is working fine.

Form frontend when I am trying to post codes it is working fine from the text editor but from visual editor it is not working as expected.

Please help with the same.

Resolved: Pin-it Button Problem with JQuery Plugin

Hi to everyone –

I’ve had a 2-day-hassle with the “jQuery Pin It Button for Images” (and the same problems with 2 other PIn-it button plugins) that has been finally resolved.

In case some other Tailor users might experience similar troubles, I would like to make some short notes how the issue was resolved:

1. Setting the selector to .jpibfi_container img:not(.nopin img)
finally enabled the nopin-option.
This way the plugin worked fine with Tailor (after adding the word nopin in the class field of the Tailor Image/Gallery inserter).

2. Setting the value for the_content to 20 in the advanced settings tab enabled Pinterest to take the description text from “image caption” field of the media library.

Visual Editor not available

I have a strange problem. I am editing two WordPress sites at two different hosting services. On one site, I can use Visual or FrontEnd Editor at all times without any glitches. Whereas on the second site, for which I recently purchased hosting and moved a site from another hosting service, I cannot find the Visual or FrontEnd Editor. SInce I am at an early stage of re-desinging the site, I have tried different themes; twenty-seventeen, twenty-sixteen, Preus and a few others; with the same result.

I am using the same computer for both sites.

So, essentially, all general troubleshooting, like clearing browser cache, login again, and that standard steps don’t apply here.

Any clues? I will appreciate if the help you provide comes in English; as I am not an experienced web designer/admin; just a newbee.
