Hi, when creating the EventPress child theme, the front page sections (slider, organizer, countdown) are missing. What needs to be done to fix that?

Frontpage Sections not Showing

Hello @themehunk ,

I’ve contacted you previously on the issue, however your response was not very helpful.

I’d like to get access to editing the front page through the FrontPage Sections. However, there’s no such menu item in my customizer, no matter what I do, all the instructions included in the theme followed.

As far as I can see, sometimes some other users (even with different themes) encouner this problem, too, but none of their solutions helped me.

I also tried completely uninstalling the theme + deleting the folder on FTP, so that I could install it with all the settings reset to the initial. However, this didn’t work either and when I installed it again, all the settings were as before.

When I contacted you with the form on your website, first you repeated the theme instructions and then suggested I get the Pro version to get extended support.

Well, that’s lovely. I really like your themes except for this problem, and I’d love to buy a Pro plan. However why would I do that if so far the free version isn’t working as supposed too and there’s no support on a basic feature? Should I expect the same after purchasing a Pro plan, thus having my funds wasted?

Removing White Space Between Frontpage Sections

There is too much white space between the front page sections. I’m using the free version of Hestia.

Categories do not show on FrontPage Sections

Hi,

I have created all Categories on my new islemag website, but when I go to Customise to choose the Categories on each of the 5 Frontpage sections, the Categories do not show up.

My only two options are “All” or “Uncategorized”.

Can you please help, what do I need to do? Thank you!

For a small project i want to use this theme (normally us Customizr). I found the front page sections -> but please help me -> what are the benefits of these sections? Why should i use them and fill the start page with content from different pages?

Are there SEO benefits? or ? what is the idea behind this feature?

Looked through the forum and couldn’t find the solution to this. I’m running Hestia theme WITH INSTALLED & ACTIVATED Orbit Fox and I am still missing the majority of Front Page Sections. See the screenshot below:

Customiser has removed the items from manage page sections

in customizer on the side bar i had 4 sections displayed (testimonials, portfolio, cta) in the page content / manage sections area. They have now disappeared making it difficult to edit these sections. i did open the front page in beaverbuilder by accident, would this cause my sections to disappear? items are still displayed on the front page although not shown in customiser.

Remove Homepage Sections

Hi, for Regina Lite – is it possible to remove the homepage sections that we don’t need? For example, can I hide the entire Haro section or the Services section or Teams Section or Testimonial Section etc. etc?
