In detail: On the settings page for Fluent SMTP where I can specify the Sender Settings “From Email” and “From Name” fields, I’ve entered our company office email address, and company name in the respective fields. I’ve also toggled the override check boxes for both fields to force the use of these fields in all emails being sent by the system. However, when an email is actually sent, my admin email address is used and the first half of the email address is used in the name field.
I’m assuming that this is not an issue with the plugin as this seems to be a critical oversight. What am I not doing right?
[your-name] <[your-email]>
This has worked fine on several other websites; it sends the email to me, from the person who filled out the form, and I’m able to reply to them seamlessly.
However, I have one site where instead of putting the proper email address (say [email protected]), it’s changing it to [email protected] … if that makes sense? I’m not sure what I need to change to make this format properly, as I indicated, I’ve never had problems with this formatting before.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
]]>Sending email from CF7 works fine, but we can’t get the sender to be taken from the “Field From” form settings instead the sender is taken from the STMP plugin settings.
We’ve tried use Additional Fields “From: ” clausule but not success.

]]>I’m using two different forms on my website, one for contacts (Avada theme’s form) and the other one (Q-form) for a particular subscription to services. Although I have set a sender (nubes@…..) on my “services form”, whenever someone uses that form, he/she receives an automatic reply sent from contatti@….. which is the “from field” address used on your SMTP. Apparently the SMTP e-mail address overwrites the one set on my Q-form settings. I would like my subscriber to receive an automatic reply from contatti when they write on contacts form and from nubes when they subscribe to our services. Could you please help?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
]]>I seem to be having a problem with emails that are sent via my woocommerce store.
I have my email name (From field) set to my store name, Bella’zure, in the MailPoet settings tab, however when an email gets sent out to a customer once they place an order, the “From” field shows as “BellA & # 8 2 1 7;zure” and not BellA’zure.
Please advise how do I get this to send correctly?
Thank you
]]>Right now the emails I’m getting have my site’s email in the from field: https://i.ibb.co/2cQrZzL/email-contact-form-7.png
The issue I have with that is when somebody sends spam, I can’t mark the email as spam because I’d be marking my own email as the spammer.
I need to put the sender’s email in the from field. Is there a way to change this behavior? This is my setup in the contact form right now: https://i.ibb.co/tXMzRtX/contact-form-7.png
I’m already using an anti spam plugin, but there are some emails that bypass the plugin and I get spam anyway.
]]>The form I developed is to generate leads. And the email is directed to a crm.
The index of this crm is the “from” field. So I need to differentiate the email from the sender so that it is not always the same customer. So I thought if it is not possible to use an email with a different numerical sequence or even as in this example: [email protected], [email protected], etc.
or whether it would be possible for the lead’s email to be considered the sender’s email. This would also be a good solution.
Any ideas on that?
]]>New here and super confused about the setup.
In the To field, I’ve entered a gmail address, to which I want my submissions directed.
In the from field, I tried to put [your-email], assuming that this was the email entered by the sender of the form. However, I get “Sender email address does not belong to the site domain.” as an error message
I’ve read the supporting documentation, but I am still confused on what to enter in the From field.
Help greatly appreciated.
]]>This address was set as a forwarding address that goes to my main email address. Now the emails from the site are now being sent from my main email address rather than the forwarding address I had set up. In Gmail, I have it set up correctly as an additional account, as an alias.
Before the update the site was sending emails correctly from my forwarding address.
