The ‘From’ address is correct:

I noticed this in each header:

I would like to replace ‘unknown’ but am not sure if it matters?

invalid from address

after 1 year of using the plugin without problem. last night without even editing the setting it started to not working. the configure account page says invalid “from address”.

and the selection field “from address” says please select From email address but there is no option to select.

I read other topics so I’m sure that the from address is added in setting of zoho website.

and my wordpress account mail is same as the “from address”

I reinstalled and reconfigured the plugin but still not working.

Wrong “From” address

The from address is using the username in the authentication field instead of the Envelope-From Email Address. This used to work fine. We did change servers so our authentication credentials changed, but otherwise the settings are the same. We also upgraded to PHP version 8.0.

I already had Prevent?plugins?and?themes?from changing this checked and I’ve since checked Disable email validation, but there has been no change.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Cannot Set From Address Name

I’m not sure if this is expected behavior or a bug. I have the “Prevent plugins and themes from changing this” box checked for “Email Address” but I have it unchecked for “Name.” My intention is to allow plugins to set the “Name” for the From address but not the email address itself. Is there any way to force the From email address but allow customization of the “name” part of the from address?

Store address change not shown in invoices

Hi, I’m using 2.8.5 of the plugin and just noticed a problem, whereby when the store address is updated in Woocommerce settings, the invoice plugin continues to use the original address and doesn’t update. The only workaround I found was to go into the system database and update the options record to fix it. Am I missing something?

Need to set different FROM address for different emails

I have a business requirement for our website www.hcny.com where we need to allow scenarios where different FROM Email(s) need to be set for some emails going out from the website instead of the from address listed in the plugin’s settings page.

Is there a hook or any other method/approach where we can override the default from email saved in the settings page?

Email notifications are always from site admin

Even if I change the from address to something different from {admin_email} the email notification that is sent out always comes from the site admin address. Is there a way to change this?

Error message shows wrong ‘From’ address

My client got an error message from Post SMTP that had the wrong URL in the ‘From’ address:

dev-akg.pte6eqsy-liquidwebsites.com was a development site that’s been gone for about 5-6 months. Where would I find/change this information? It doesn’t exist in the database.

From Address always changes to default

Hi, When we send a Broadcast, we enter a From Email but it always changes back to the default Word Press email ([email protected]). In General Settings of the Email Subscribers Plugin, we left the From Email Address blank and we use the email above for the admin email address.

We saw from another topic that a SMTP plugin could be changing the from address when we broadcast. In our case, we are using SendGrid but the From address in SendGrid is using a different email ([email protected]) so it appears that SendGrid is NOT changing the from address.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!
