It took me a long time to find a proper designer and editor for WordPress that wasn’t the standard editor WordPress offers itself. I wanted something that I could design myself but also use templates and interesting designs to inspire.

Colibri WP works great for me. Originally I only used the free version but upgraded to the premium after Colibri showed promise and reliability. So I can only recommend using it and getting inspired by the demo pages, the finished blocks as well as all the other possibilities the plugin/ theme offers.

Regarding the reason I am writing this review: There was an error in Colibri recently, and while my websites were still available, changing the language was not working anymore due to the Colibri error. I know that errors happen in IT, that’s just how it is, but what matters is how fast is it solved? How much information and guidance do we receive during the error? And what are the consequences?

As for this error, I wrote to the support team of Colibri and they quickly replied, informing me of an error and that they are working on solving the error. I am glad they answered so quickly. They send another message a short while later, informing me that the error was solved and I should check that everything works again. It did. So the problem was solved fast, the error was explained (in regards to what is going on, that they are on it, and what I need to do from my side – in this case only do an update of the plugin once the error was gone) and my pages worked again within a few hours.

For me, who does not have online shops or anything like that on my sites, that is a fast resolve, and the support team was very nice and helpful, and still thankfully understood that I just wanted more information on what is going on, which they provided fast, detailed, and friendly.

I love working with the plugin. It is fast, beautiful and easy to use yet sufficiently complex and has many useful features. We tried half a dozen plugins until we finally found one in Everest Forms that covers all our requirements.

The support/helpdesk is fast, super friendly and above average also technically.

We will also look at the next evaluation of plugins to see if there is a solution from Theme Grill that we can use.

I love the simplicity of this wonderful plugin. It makes managing data privacy “sexy” and fast. I don’t have to study laws to make sure I’m conform with the latest rules… Also, the customer support is wild. I mean I’ve opened a ticket about a function I missed (or just didn’t see lol) and Matthias texted me back in 2 minutes (on a sunday evening!!!). All this for the very reasonable pricing per year, I would recommend this plugin and the people behind it anytime!
