Google Friend Connect help for the love of god

So i’ve been trying to update my blog with Google Friend Connect and for some reason, everytime I try to add the “text widget” and paste the HTML code into it, all that shows up is text. I have a GFC account and I believe it’s all set up, I have looked at tutorials and can’t find a “design” link on my dashboard on WP and don’t have anywhere I can add HTML code in besides a widget. I have no idea where I can put plug ins on my WordPress blog either.

Can someone please tell me what i’m doing wrong or do I need to in order to get this to work? Thank you so much. And i’m not sure if you need the blog address to help out, but here it is, thanks again so much in advance.

Hi!!! I recently added the google friend connect widget to my blogs but it seem not to show up. I waited for days and tried it in different PCs it really does not show up…I’ve tried it in two of my blogs with same problem. What maybe causing this? I’ve successfully installed the two required files for this to run but to no avail. Can anyone help me please?? Im using a free hosting from www.000space.com and www.000webhost.com

Hey everyone,

I’ve tried to add Google’s Friend Connect integration so users can have the option of logging in with FC before leaving a comment. The plugin seems to be configured correctly since it will let you login; however, the page just keeps refreshing from that point on. I’ve seen this problem listed elsewhere but no one seems to have gotten a resolution.

Anyone have any ideas?

Google’s New Friend Connect – Does it work with WordPress

Google is releasing its Friend Connect tonight. It has applets that you can add into your code to give it social content. In otherwords, features similar to Facebook. My question: Is the friends listing features compatible to wordpress member list…in otherwords can a person signing up on my friends list automatically update the members of my blog, and members of my blog be put on the friends list?
