Hey
I’ve just started creating a new webpage (first time) and I can’t get the homepage to change in any way. Its stuck with a menu I haven’t designed (there are 2 pages on there that I don’t even have) and it won’t change.

I’ve tried changing the theme, deactivating all my plugins, changing the homepage page in the settings and nothing is working.

I’m using the Divi Theme builder, and every new page I try to create also appears like the homepage, where I am unable to use the divi theme builder.

How do I fix this

After customizing a theme I made it public. It is now on the internet. The problem is that on each page where the title is or not, there is a EDIT text and if you click on it
it takes you to the site admin page, which means anyone can do whatever.

I find this plug in very useful, really helps me get things done fast with out code. I have built some awesome hover animations. I wish it was bulk editing thought….. but anyways still 5 stars!

Hi All,

I am apologizing in advance because I am sure you all have seen this question before but I have not had any success in my forum searches.

I am new to this forum and also to WordPress although I am not new to website creation as I am somewhat familiar with Dreamweaver.

I am now assisting with our church website that runs on WordPress. Before I make any changes or adds to the live website I would like to install WordPress on my Mac for learning/testing purposes. To that end I an not able to complete the installation.

I have installed MAMP and started the servers. I have connected to localhost:8888 via Safari and this is where I am stuck. Where do I find my database username and password?

Suitable for UpWork-esque marketplace?
